Weve got a plant in the woods that has a little bit of bud on it, but something dug it up. I tried to fix it, but shes not gonna make it. There’s not a lot of bud on it, so i dont think we should worry about curing it. So i guess im asking if i can just let it dry for a bit then smoke it?
I dont even cure mine. I just dry it for like 2 or 3 weeks. Then light it up.
Now lets say its only MAYBE 3 grams (she got her life taken early) would you still dry for 2-3 weeks?
Haven’t tried to dry short. I prolong the drying process as a standard. With even 3 grams. I’d still shoot for 7 days. It just depends on your dry set-up. If you cant control temperature and humidity then it could dry super fast if in a dry climate.
How do you know when its dry enough?
The stem snap. When you bend the stem in half. It should have a little pop sound to it. If its sound crunchy probably too dry. If it just bends like rubber. Not done yet
Naw its been dug up for idk how long. We didnt yake any actions to protect the ones in the woods. We will next year though!
The flower is probably not developed. I doubt you would enjoy the high. But, you could put it in a jar with a humidity probe and see what RH reading you get.
I might do that. Just hate to see it go to waste.
Definitely worth a shot.
