@Rasta_Free-Man I too have a sp3000 and I realized that I have to pay close attention to its power. At 100% power I was getting 1200-1300 ppfd at 12" spacing. Some tips were bleached on the top. Then I decided to put one of those CO² producing bags on and finally started to see huge buds. Yeah I guess it could be the light but all in all if the trichomes are ready cut and amen.
Are you sure you have a nutrient lockout?
She looks so strong! It will grow double what she is now, at least, I think.
Many thanks @Maro for the reply! I try to keep the PPFD under 950 at the highest point and it drops from there… I guess 450-550 PPM co2 is just not enough for the conditions.
I tried the TNB co2 canister and it did nothing, but I have constant air exchange…
I am pretty certain that she is experiencing nutrient lock out for the past 4 weeks, as when I feed 6.0 the run off is 7.50, or feed at 6.5, and run off is 8.0… so yeah… I should have flushed like crazy when I noticed the run off creeping up… I have dried up nutrients in the soil from going wet to dry cycle … but no more fungus gnats!
@Rasta_Free-Man I advise you in the future to add some fine powdered dolomitic lime to the substrate. In addition to buffering the pH in the soil, it releases calcium and magnesium until the end of cultivation. And it’s good for both organic cultivation and with the use of synthetic fertilizers.
Decided to chop the straggler. Still mostly cloudy with a few clear but the plant was degrading rapidly. Most of the sugar leaves were either yellow and brown or fully dead and crispy. Terps were diminishing every day and all signs were she was not happy so I decided to chop before she got any worse. Plus I need the tent for the autos run.
Overall, even though she produced massive buds, like at least 2-3x of her sibling, the result is really disappointing. Hardly any smell, nowhere near as inviting. Will probably make her into concentrates or something tbh. Just bad luck on the seed I think. Let’s see how she cures but really going to make the effort to source some A+++ genetics for my next run.
Suggestions welcome!
@Deanroche looks great, freaky! keep us posted
@SJ1 she still might smoke really well, you never know… I also had very low expectations for my Master Jedi, did not have much smell and not much bag appeal, BUT it is hands down a favorite for the wife and I out all my harvests yet… but that could have just been the strain/terpene profile…
Good vibes going into the dry n cure and hopefully theyll come around. So she’s not a looker, had some ugly but awesome smoke in my time! So likeRasta_Free-Man, you never know!
And I totally get the needing the space, im sorta happy i found another male in my 11 randos I got growing. Well technically 15… ifnya count clones. I got more curious!
As for as seeds, I picked some Gnome Automatics and Mosca seeds. More an impulse buy, but they’ll be some of my first known grow seeds. Unless the local place has something auto and fast, in stock when i swing by later this week.
I’m new at this, but the Gnome Automatics, i really liked their sales pitch on their site. Half sure it means something good lol
other than that theres a cool post about seeds going on, I’ve been taking notes and making book marks from that.
Good luck on the dry n cure! I’m sure it’ll turn it out well!
Will do @SJ1,
Iv just transplanted 3 and put them in my wardrobe, starting flower tomorrow in the tent with the 2 purple punch og fem 2 freakshow Fem, Dr, Widow

Hi Guys, Woowho66 hère. Living in SW France and in need of some advice please. Germinated these four Barney’s Farm seeds 19/03. All four sprouted 23/03 and were exactly three weeks old yesterday (watermelon Skittlez / strawberry lemonade and two tropicanna banana). Grew super fast (tall) and very leggy in first five days due to lack of light, so repotted them. They live in south facing window and I put them in sunshine if it’s over 15C. Plan on putting them in ground around mid May. Do you think they look a reasonable size for three weeks old? Secondly are they in vegetative stage or not quite yet? Any advice much appreciated.
Forgot to mention they are féminiséd seeds. I Put them outside in direct sunlight when over 15C. Strawberry lemonade currently the runt of the litter and Skittlez is the largest
I believe those would be in Veg at this point. From my understanding, as soon as your first see true leaves they are considered Veg stage. So pretty much as soon as it develops its first set of leaves after the cotyledons.
Any ideas?
Thanks @Fatmanicus for confirming that. Seems to be a lot of conflicting ideas around this online? Some say it’s when there is your first set of fan leaves w three leaflets and others say there must be 4 - 7 sets of real leaves, not including cotyledons, so I was a little confused. Appreciate your answer .
I hope it’s accurate, like you said, so many conflicting answers. I’ve been leaning towards old school knowledge, some good books out there, people sharing a lifetime of knowledge and experience.
Two authors I’ve found extremely helpful, Ed Rosenthal and Soma. Soma, is focused on organic earth friendly so it’s my go to author. Rosenthal has continued to update and improve his books, and his Marijuana Garden Saver is shortcuted on my phone lol
