How old is your guys plant ? send a pic or comment

News to me to, and super cool thing! Thanks for sharing

I agree bro I used ladybugs during my grow and they kept everything on point. I also incorporated another bug that kills terps in the soil they are called ā€œBenificialsā€ I picked it up at my local Hydro store.

Hey there @Graywave i happen to be one of those guys who on average will produce a QP from each plant. The most I’ve got was 8 oz from one plant, but it does have to do with genetics and Veg time I normally leave my plants to Veg for 60 days and flower for 60 days. In total they normally can take 5 months to harvest. I was running 14 plants this last time so I did yield about 1 1/2 pounds. 3 different strains - Allen Wrench, Grease Monkey, Bay 11

These guys sprouted cotyledons on the 22/03 and are exactly one month old. Feminised seeds (Barney’s Farm) that will be placed outdoor in ground after 15/05 to avoid the last frost here in s.w France. They were definitely VERY leggy the first week as I had them in a mini ā€œhot houseā€ in my bathroom w temps of 24C during day and 18C at night. Two days after sprouting they were already 5-6cm tall and I was worried they would never survive. I re-potted them in deeper pots and they seem to be making a comeback. They live in south facing window and put them in the sun if temps are 15C or hotter. They’re definitely enjoying the Biobizz fish-mix I’ve been feeding them since last week. Interested to hear what more experienced growers think of their size etc. Are they looking ok or still struggling? Thanks. SW

Thanks for the heads up @Rasta_Free-Man . Hopefully this time the upload was successful. If you’re able to see the pics I’m interested to hear your thoughts. Left my foot in the photo for context of size.

Day 32 veg we in there all Gaia Green dry amendments and RO water ph 6.5 RH at about 40% a little lower then I want but aye.

@Woowho66, they all look pretty darn healthy and strong from the pictures you shared.
I would suggest re-potting the 4th plant in the pictures, the one where the leaves have grown past the edges of the pot. Can probably just wait another week and re-pot them all.

Looking strong!

Have you considered defoliation and trimming a bit? Seems that there is a bunch of lower and inner growth that can be removed to increase light penetration and air-flow.

Hi @Rasta_Free-Man , thanks for the quick reply :+1:t3:. Yeah I noticed the leaves on the biggest plant (watermelon Skittlez) were now wider than the pot. I plan to re-pot all of them next week and keep them like that until putting them in ground. Stoked to hear you think they’re looking good. Thx again and I’ll post updated pics in a month or so

@SJ1 accidentally split one of their stems doing LST so I’m waiting a week before flipping to flower. I’m using all organic nutrients this time they look good right?

They look great, very healthy. What are you feeding them?

All kelp4less nutrients. Yucca extract, silica, organic grow pack and organic calmag. I also foliar spray with yucca and extreme blend once a week

Nice. What made you switch to organic? I’m organic and was thinking of going synthetic next run lol…

If you’re seriously considering organic I’d keep in mind that the plants don’t know or care where the elements come from . . . nitrogen is nitrogen. You will always have better control and accuracy of your nutrients with synthetics . . .

Just want to be conscious about what I’m putting in my body. It’s my opinion that plant-based organic nutrition is important for my health. I don’t want to consume synthetic stuff that my food ate. I have heard it will linger in the plant and I’ll end up either consuming a metabolized version of the thing I gave my plant or it just doesnt change. I’m willing to hear all sides on this but those are my thoughts @frogyrogy

Research I’ve read says the actual elements the plant uptakes are identical whether they are sourced through lab style chemical processes (synthetic) or the organic chemical processes found in nature. You just have better control of those elements with synthetic nutrients.

Yeah but who loves standing there mixing in 4 -5 different nutes then stirring then checking ph every 3 days I started with GH synthetic nutes for 2 grows now on my 3rd grow I’m using Giai green dry amendments and I couldn’t recommend this line more for people who love ease and just would rather water then be a chemist. True, well said.

I am all for organic growing, but in this stage of my growing career, I want to be able to push the plant to it’s absolute maximum. So I am using Synthetic nutrients (derived form natural ingredients = Strive Nutrients absolutely Rocks!!!).

When I go organic, I will be doing no-till organic living soil… at that point, my only job is to keep the soil alive for the plant to thrive… but I still can’t immediately adjust my plants’ nutrients/root environment without killing the living soil. I will also have to be very comfortable with a lot of Bug Life… worms and creepy crawlers… so not sure I will to that too soon… I am trying to have less bugs not more LOL
