Hi @SJ1 I too had the same problem, then reading Cervantes’ “Bible” I discovered that there is a window of time in which the trichomes change from milky to amber, but… first you must have undergone wash your plants at least 2 weeks before the theoretical end of flowering. Once the first abundant washing has started, the window will begin and you will have to observe the maturation of the trichomes daily.

Thanks bro but I did all that. This one was just a mutant. I chopped it on day 83 or something of flower, when it was a 60-65 day window. And it was still mostly clear, but the plant was literally about to die within the next few days so I chopped it.

Mg . . . discoloration from tips/edges edges inward
Sulphur the discoloration would start in the center where the leaf fingers join, similar to an iron deficiency but not as bright of a yellowing

When did you last calibrate your ph pen?

Okay, well I think I can solve your problem for you. You need to clean and recalibrate mate. I have a $300 Hanna ph/EC/TDS meter… it is amazingly accurate, BUT it still needs to be calibrated after about 2-3 months max if you want to have accurate readings. I recently found this out… I was like No way in needs to be calibrated… I checked the ph of Distilled water and was off by like .40. After recalibrating, everything right back on point.
So I am just guessing that the plant is locked out of accessing certain nutrients due to the ph range.
of course… I could be wrong, it is known to happen

New grower, oldtime maintenance dude, can confirm recalibrating measuring devices on a very often routine can save lots of issues.
Typically the more often the use the more often you should clean n calibrate. At least in the teachings i was given.

Very true, I forgot to mention it depends on how often you use it. My Hanna pen also comes with a storage liquid that you pour into the cap to keep the probe hydrated. They also have a special cleaning liquid. Sometimes, the probe is just covered in film from nutrients.

Jajaja i calibrate every monday! Crazy! I have a hanna $300+ aswell and my autogrow sensors aswell once a week!

Mag for sure, check your pH calibration and maybe some antagonism growing in soil i guess because of the ph

where did you get yours from?
I am trying a new place, since they are the only ones who had the seeds I wanted and would ship to me. I bought from a local Canadian company called mjseedscanada.ca
They have been around since 2009, so I hope they have stable genetics by now… :). It does take years…

How about @Rasta_Free-man I also bought Pineapple Express from Barney’s Farm to grow this summer and how can I have to go to the grow shop in my neighborhood to buy Apple Fritter from Royal Queen Seeds, as well as another quality from Royal Queen seeds they came out Cereal Milk and Sundae Driver. but they spoke to me very well about the Apple Fritter and together with the Pineapple Express and Mango Sapphire from Humboldt plus Banana Punch I am going to have good fruity ones in my little garden. Good choice of Pineapple Express, Trainwrek x Hawaiian Mowie Wowi
