This might be helpful BudLabs: Hydroponics App Built by Growers for Growers. This what I use to make my nutrient calculations.

How’s it going so far? You figure it out? I’ve been watching some videos on it but haven’t gotten too deep yet. Super interested tho!

One thing that would be a concern for me would be the water temp. If the water is supposed to be in the low 70s but the tent is 80, how do you maintain that?

Generally, you’ll replenish the reservoir as needed and completely replace the solution weekly to bi-weekly. Monitor water level, EC and pH regularly, they will tell you what the plants are doing . . . I think I posted this before but it can help:

I found it to be a “brittle” system and no longer run DWC; but when done properly it’s a hard system to beat performance wise.

Thanks! I’m thinking of trying out a homemade one with a Home Depot bucket once I get a stockpile of buds going. I have everything to do it beside net pots, clay pebbles, and rock wool, all of which are cheap!

I’d also assume the ph perfect from advanced nutrients would make everything even easier

hey friends, thanks for the table, it’s very interesting. So yesterday I set up the system according to the fertilizer scheme for 25 liters of water and then it became criminal. I took my seedling out of the 1 liter airport, removed the soil, first crumbled it, then carefully perlite the rest in a water bath and worked it out of the roots. Unfortunately the peat Jiffy had to stay. And then into the system. I put the root way down and only then put the expanded clay on top. The SpiderFarmer system also has a ring from which water is transported to the top edge, probably for young plants. It seems to have survived the night very well and is not showing any signs of stress. Really, I have to put all the water back on every week now. That’s hard

Today i add some Clay balls

Once you figure out a way to pull the plant off and set it in a way that it’s not getting damaged, maybe set it into a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket, it shouldn’t be to bad to clean and refill the pots.

Back when I tried a few runs it was all just standard 5 gallon buckets . . . prep the new “reservoir” and move the top from one bucket to the next. Made it easier to keep everything clean.

My pH value has gone up despite regulation. It is currently at 7.9. Now I only have pH reducer from Biobizz, i.e. citric acid. Do you think I can use that without killing the water? Or should I order something quickly? I don’t want to waste so much time.

I’ll think of something to do with cleaning them. I’d like to grow two plants if possible. But I’ve already thought about the alternate option. But that’s a problem for later.

You’d maintain water temps with a chiller. Some people even use frozen water bottles

If you’re running the AN nutrients I’ve been told it will run high and be fine. The pH Perfect line is a bit misleading in that it doesn’t actually regulate pH, I don’t really understand how, but it enables the plant to uptake nutrients at a much broader range than normal . . . anywhere from 4-8 is supposed to be good.

ah OK yes that confused me a bit too I also thought that it would adjust itself. So let’s wait and see

Not to shabby

I am so glad someone shared that chart with me. It changed my reservoir game.

Auto Critical Orange Punch. This is a new start for me. I want to see how my plants turn out with everything I learned in the first grow. By checking the ec and pH I found that she is a light feeder in veg.

My two black strap autos. Started at the same time in same environment and they’re like 2 weeks apart lol. Should make an interesting finish since I dry in this same tent

Anyone have experience on how to navigate this? Was thinking about putting the less mature plant outdoors during the day and back into the tent at night. I know it will stress it out but not sure what else to do. I would slowly ramp up outdoor exposure leading up to that point too. I’m thinking I’d have to have it outside for 5-7 days until the chopped plant is dry enough to put into the sweat box
