Looks like co2 to me!
You think vpd is more important to control? I have my humidity perfect but my tent is only 73 degrees F in veg right now so it’s throwing off my vpd. Curious how I should approach
On a side note, I’m using the sweat tub hybrid dry/cure that @hodymo uses after hanging for a week. The cool part? It’s hovered high 50’s and low 60’s with the lid sealed or opened after a full week in the tub so I should get a really amazing finished product. It got a week or hanging and then probably will get at least 2 more weeks of that hybrid dry, so really extending that drying period out big time!
Im not sure if vpd is more important than say keeping like a 75f 60-65%h but ever since i focused on vpd and adjusted my humidity to go with qhatever my current temps were ive noticed a lot faster growth. I want to maintain a 30 day veg time on grows but at times plants just didnt look ready for another 2 weeks roughly. And maintaining 1.0-1.2 daily vpd average ive noticed better overall growth. Some strains like it hotter or cooler than others but they all prefer that comfortable atmosphere. The stomatas will close when air is to dry which slows down photosynthesis and i believe co2 exchange and when too humid they stay open longer but also with excessive amounts of moisture bring the risk of rot and other problems. My opinion is all long as your not cranking your humidity into the 70s and 80s to get that 1.0 vpd range its less stressful than trying to battle both temps and humidity. Sometimes just adjusting the humidity like i do helps a great deal. And flowering time im all about keeping humidity down rather than getting a 1.5 vpd avg. Luckily i keep around 77f to 80f with 60% humidity closer to the ceiling and 53% floor level with occasional spikes but end of week data shows a weekly avg of 1.1ish vpd
Yup mj nail on the head it’s a Co2 box using fungi that produces co2 as waste and intakes o2 from your plants so it continuously releases Co2 it has enough food for 6 months then you buy another one.
Looks fire
I’m still in early veg, technically still seedlings so have my humidity set at 85 when the lights are on but my temps are low so my vpd averages about .50. Does that need adjusting?
Yeah if your able to try to get rh to about 70% depending on temps could go to around 65% rh. Only time youll really need to be above 70% rh is when temps in the 80s (in veg) so if your not pushing that high youll probably want a 60-70% rh for veg probably closer to 60s
Got it, adjustments already made. Love the ac infinity controller lol
Yeah. You need it pretty hot to get the rh up into the 70s or 80s. I use a heater to get the temps up so i can run the rh in the 70s.
In the seedling stage you should be fine. If you can get the temps up to 80 that would be better. Do you have a way of measuring leaf temp.
Here’s what I think of lower spaghetti stems that did not make it anywhere near the canopy.
Apple Strudel Auto.
Hopefully this stops the stretch. I should have done this days ago.
Then I put the clippings in here
I don’t but can by one of the readers if I start getting into trouble lol
So far, so good with the octopots! Still waiting on my hlg light too, but it does say 2-4 weeks so I’m being patient lol
Also, I had to turn the central air in my house on for the first time today and it brought the humidity and temp way down in that room. That’s a good sign as I’ll be in flower in the dead heat of summer and this will help big time
Dude not having my house ac on is killing my humidity right now. But we just got an increase for our monthly electric cost so I’m trying to keep the bills cheap. I’m riding it out for the first few weeks of flower. Hopefully it doesn’t cause any issues.
lol imagine here in communist California! Holy shit I wanna leave, they make everything so shitty and so expensive. When we bought our house it had solar panels tho, so that helps big time!
I’m trying to get solar but they said I live in a blackout zone. Like wtf NJ
Gotta love it! I didn’t mean my dig against California as a dig at democrats either. I’m an independent but just despise Gavin Newsom and his aunt Pelosi. They’re as crooked as you can get! Although 99% of politicians are
I completely get it man. I’m a libertarian, I’m always on the outside looking in, wishing both mainstream parties could get back to helping the country instead of battling each other. There are things both parties do that I can get behind. Hell gov Murphy got us legal weed, he just won’t give us home grow rights.
