How old is your guys plant ? send a pic or comment

If you are going to add or upgrade stuff i would definitely start with the exhaust fan and then carbon filter if smell is a concern for you at all. Adding co2 can help at times but you want to get the rest of the pieces lined up first before trying to fine tune too much.

A slightly bigger tent probably wouldn’t be a bad idea, by the time you have an exhaust fan hanging and factor in light hanging height 120cm doesn’t leave you with a lot of vertical space to work with

Smells not a problem, so exhaust fan first, I was thinking of some lite stress training as well just incase I can’t get a bigger tent quick enough just to help with space.

I think I can just fit an extractor in above the light

I might add it’s the middle of winter where I am my house is quite cold I have a small heater on most night till late ish morning as the light doesn’t produce much heat on the setting it’s on the fan I just use for airflow an to help strengthen the stem, I feel like humidity might be a problem to as it’s dry cold here.

I would not use CO² yet. It’s useless anyway if you don’t have everything else on point in your garden. Make sure these things are right first. Room humidity, temperature (VPD), watering, feeding (EC when using a minimal fertilizers), pH, light PPFD and DLI, air circulation and keep it clean. And then you can start thinking of adding CO². And always keep in mind, adding CO² might be good for your plants. but it’s not good for you or your pet’s. It makes you tired, gives you headaches and can knock you out. Your priority now should be. A circulation fan upgrade, an exhaust ventilator, a thermo- and hygrometer. Learn how much water and food your plant need. And maybe get the ppfd meter app on your phone so you don’t fry that one plant in a 2x2 with your 600W. All this will significantly improve the grow. :slightly_smiling_face:

Btw, I’m not adding any extra CO² to my plants and they still grow happy and healthy and fill out the whole tent.

Thanks! They could look a bit healthier, but they have roots in a week! And they grow really fast now! I guess I’ll transplant them into soil in one or two day’s.

Got plenty of light for that 2x2 and enough for a 3x3 or 4x4 if ya ever upgrade tents. I see your at 20% with light which is a good ppfd for there age and keeps the heat coming off the light low. The potting soil is also good for seedling and young plants just may need to start feeding sooner than later and as for airflow i use a little 10inch vivosun oscillating fan which is ideal up to a 3x3 and any fan will do so whatever your budget is it doesn’t need to be top of the line. As for intake and outake if your sticking with a 2x2 a 4inch setup will do just fine but if your going to upgrade tent size i would go with a 6 or 8 inch setup just so your not buying another system later on and those can be setup outside the tent so its not taking up tent space. And a dehumidifier and humidifier will also help a great deal but you got plenty to start a grow and can always upgrade throughout the year during sales. In the U.S we have black friday and cyber monday deals in November and lot of grow shops do fall indoor growing deals and can pick up a lot of decent equipment for wicked cheap. Other than that your off to a good start and the community is here to help ya any way we can bud

Even the 20%/120W are way overpowered in that stage and a waste of electricity and money. 10-20W of light, 8 inches or 20 cm above the plant would be enough. I have in my 2x4 tent, 450W of light hanging and use 190W at the moment.
