It can have root entanglement if not enough space or if plants just are thriving in the soil so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have spacers if ya go that route. I’ll be adding them next grow myself
Yeah I’m definitely trying it next time.
Though on my first try with it I’ll put in some spaces incase as well
Yeah I think those will help prevent some headaches in my opinion and my beds are like a .60 meters by 1.22 meters by .30 meters (ty chatgpt) and only half full of soil and no tangle issues so far so I feel as long as each plant has about 20-28 liters of soil you shouldn’t run into much issues there
I’ll see what’s out there with similar dimensions.
Go buy it all and then say we told you to keep going after that lol.
This could work hahahaha if I hadn’t told her it’ll be ok an we can bounce back, she was happy for me to even have to get a new light, I was like where gonna have to sterilize everything an start again hahahahaha
Even when something gets right out of hand just about everything can be cleaned down with bleach or hydrogen peroxide. Now that watering and pH are back to normal keep an eye on the new growth and see how that looks. The funky looking ones will probably never look normal so don’t judge it based on those but any fresh leaves will start showing you a clearer picture.
I’m still stumped on your bug thing though unless some diatomaceous earth helps. Most things that come from the soil hate the stuff.
I’m not entirely sure there coming from the soil, I Just see them all over the soil, plant an pot, but I dont rule out it as a possibility that they did come from there.
Maybe the pests are in the room where your tent is and get in that way? Does your air intake have insect protection? I stretched a nylon stocking over a bottomless flower pot and use it as an air intake opening. Nothing gets through, even dust stays out.
Otherwise,
Maybe you can lure the insects out of the tent. Set up a wine trap and hope they prefer that.
Sometimes that helps.
Anyone have any experience with hydro guard? My octopot reservoir was a little funky smelling so I heard this helps with that and root health. L
I might try that to, I’ll have a really good look an make sure there not anywhere outside the tent as well, I haven’t seen any so far.
I haven’t used it but I can see it being very helpful for you with the way the octopots are built, I might give it a try in the autopots if it won’t mess with my lines.
Ok so, I wiped down the pots with hospital grade alcohol wipes yesterday an the edges every few hours to kill excess mites, I stayed at a mates last night so did one last wipe before I set out I came home this morning checked an there are a considerably less amount on the pot an the plant it’s self, I feel like the strong smell is probably driving them mad, the girls looked alot happier to. So maybe keeping that up an a insecticidal soap spray at lights off every 2-3 days might really bring there population down even further, I’ve also had the humidifier off for 2 days with steady lvls in the tent so didn’t want excess humidity.
Sounds like a great start if you’re seeing a difference already.
I read it actually cleans the lines for those but I’ll let you know!
Here’s tonight after flushes the res out, into the final stretch
Have a look at this one next time you are buying, same stuff but way higher concentration. 98% compared to less than 1% so would probably save you some money in the long run if you keep using it
Thank you sir! Hoping this shit helps, it smelled pretty fuckin nasty
