Yeah I’m between genetics or just my first time being in coco as the culprit. Thankfully my mom has eased up on her joints recently so it gives me time to veg them to a proper size. Overall, I think coco will be better than the soil I ran previously but I just need to dial it in. I think before I flip to flower I’m going to drain the reservoirs and then top water heavily with calcium mag to flush and recharge the coco. You think that’s a good idea?

I wish I had knowledge about coco. All I know is it has to be buffered in the beginning and to treat it like hydro during the grow.

If you have been bottom watering your nutes the whole run don’t top water now, it’s going to force any mineral build up down into the root zone instead of just below the surface where it will be sitting now.

What is your ratio of coco to perlite like?

I used the royal tupur coco so I think it was 70/30 but not 100% sure

That is great for top watering but for butt chugging I mix mine to between 50/50 and 60/40, that probably isn’t your issue with the smaller ones this run I think that’s probably genetics like blunt suggested but it could speed your next run up a little. Having the extra drainage and air around the root zone helps a lot when we are basically keeping it constantly wet down there.

I have my wife an house mate helping me trim I made a joke how where gonna have to do it old school an to keep everything sterile an so know one steals any so we all gotta be naked ok, (both the women did not like this idea) hahahaha.
