How old is your guys plant ? send a pic or comment

You definitely can. You’ll have to introduce microbiology with something like rootwise microbe complete. I’d also add a mulch to the top doesn’t dry out too much since it’s a bottom watering system. It’s definitely feasible though.

Day 13, I just noticed that the purple pistils have appeared. The truth is that it’s been very cold at night, and I don’t know if it’s that or genetics. I had been worried thinking they were burnt by the light, but seeing them up close I saw that they were purple, but they are healthy and the plants look healthy. Yesterday I had to prune the lower parts because I was worried that the air wasn’t flowing well.

So HLG just won me over again. My light has been flickering a lot lately. I’ve had it for 3 years, it was refurbished to begin with. Sent HLG a message via their website, they walked me through a test to see if it was the ballast or the dimmer, either is still under warranty. Did the test found it was the dimmer. They are sending out a replacement dimmer tomorrow with priority shipping. They really stand behind their products and their warranty. Quick to make things right and left me happy with the outcome.

How would I add build a bloom and build a flower? Just right on top like soil? I’m over advanced nutrients as it’s too much of a task to water when measuring and adding10 different nutes. I only use them cuz I got the full lineup when I bought my first tent. I do love the results tho and feel like even tho they are expensive, they do go a long way

Build a bloom and build a veg are water soluble and meant to water from above. It’ll gunk up a res and some particles will fall out of solution. I’d recommend craft blend and pushin p along with the rootwise. You could do a run start to finish with just craft blend, it’ll give good results just not as good as adding pushin p. They also have buildaflower that can mixed into a top dress. It’s a great product, I add it to my top dresses every time.

I’m just having a hard time envisioning top feeding in coco with a bottom fed system but I guess it would draw roots up to direct feed right? I might give this a go lol

Why organic nutrients do not work in coco | THCFarmer - Cannabis Cultivation Network https://share.google/FVHO0UFSHEkvcjJ7L

After reading this I don’t know if it’ll actually work. Mr Canucks has videos on his channel doing organics in coco but he was using Gia Green 444 and 284. Maybe it’ll be better to try it in soil first.

I’m not opposed to soil, I’m actually way more comfortable with it. This is my first grow in coco and I switched after recommendations on here about how the growth just explodes

Just got the camera microscope but still need to learn how to use it…

I suck at using those, I still use a jewelers loupe.

Coco has really explosive results. Soil the plant grows at it’s own pace. Automated watering allows it to be explosive but not like coco and salt nutes.

I do have to give organic a go at some point so I will definitely try. I get bored easily so always looking for a new challenge

If you don’t have a steady hand. Perhaps use a camera tripod or zoom out a bit with your phone’s camera.
That way it won’t be quite so shaky.
