I’m trying some new stuff to see if it makes a difference. My last harvest was a little sub par so I got the itch to change it up. Fingers crossed as the whole new assortment was like $300 but it’ll last me a loooooong time.

last night of veg for the grow room and into bloom phase. going to clean them up a little and remove a few more lower branches that i was giving a chance to reach trellis net but didnt. also the turbo kush “fast” decided to take on the autoflower trait it was crossed with and started flowering under 18/6 (ill share a separate pic) and i guess positive side is itll finish faster than the others and downside unstable genetics to play around with if i wanted to lol.. Beds below from top to bottom goes as 1, infatuation. 2,infatuation. 3,cherry sunrise. 4,sour berry shake. 5,sour berry shake. 6, maui mindworker

and finally this turbo kush doing this at 18 hours of light and maybe stress could have induced the autoflower gene or just unstable genetics

My flowering girls came down today. 3 each of tropicana cookies purple, apple fritter and peanut butter breath hanging to dry. In their place in the 5×5 went 2 more apple fritter, 2 more peanut butter breath, 1 Afghan Kush, 1 tropicana cookies purple, 1 jealousy and 1 gorilla glue all at early veg and starting to take off.

after i was done moving everything around i decided to get a bit of a jump on the next round and started germination on 1 each of jelly breath, exodus cheese, chemical bride, peyote Zkittlez, cookie casket, gmo, rainbow sherbet and gelato mint. Going to be a busy time around here before long right in time for the cooler weather

I find it quite interesting to see how quickly the roots are growing at this stage compared to the rest of the plant. I’m really surprised how well it worked. I didn’t do much except add 1% hydrogen peroxide to the water and adjust the pH to 5.5. The clone collar is sitting directly on the water’s surface. I’m not using an air stone and haven’t changed the water since germination began. It’s a shame my setup isn’t finalized yet, and I don’t know what to do with it now except watch how long it survives. But it was only ever meant to be an experiment..

thats pretty cool you got it to sprout in the collar and i know you said your setup isnt complete but im curious to what it does. im always curious about these plants and at what extremes will they take to fight to stay alive. i watch a few videos of breeders strain hunting in other countries and saw cannabis growing out of rocks and ocean water and i find it intriguing lol

Should you ever make your way to South Africa on holiday I’ll take you to the remote villages in our Eastern side of the country, the Mecca of growers in Southern Africa. You will lose your marbles seeing their techniques :sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

if i ever find myself in that area i am 100% taking you up on that offer lol

Lol you might not want to leave by the time the trip is done, that’s basically what happened to Franco from strain hunters until he sadly passed on

never met the dude but you could feel his passion for cannabis just watching the old strain hunter episodes

That’s great for me, that it works. Now I don’t have to worry about bits of rock wool clogging the nozzles. I think about this setup every day and I already have most of the things I need, but I just can’t find the time to build it. I probably won’t manage it until sometime in the second half of the year. It’s already so much fun again to see my little plant growing. Here’s what I’m going for, a far too expensive, far too over engineered irrigation system. lol.

This iz my 9 week old BonZai Mother from which I plant to Clone from :dna:

Da concept is to have a brood mother (starcraft!) that I can just clone from all year round and perpetually grow buds within 4-8 Weeks

Da mold iz from Grapefruit…yea…Zombie Bonzai Brood Mother :alien_monster::ogre::microbe:

Day 55 Flower Northern Lights & Platinum Cake

Removed the dead and dying fan leaves. Readjusted the trellis for better light exposure and air flow. Buds are dense and sticky. Amazing citrus aroma. Buds are getting heavy any starting to fall over

You have a beauty there. You should perhaps support it a bit.

Here’s a picture of my babies

and as of today, they have new additions

the little Royal Runtz is just starting to sprout.

In the background there’s still parsley, but it will soon go into the garden.
