Veg day 16, the bigger ones got all points topped last night trying to slow them down but they shrugged it off like nothing.

I defoliate like that a lot to slow plants. Sadly it doesn’t work as advertised. They always seem to just keep going.

For sure. These octopots make that even worse cuz half the roots are directly in the reservoir and they feed on demand

well i tried to keep an even canopy and should of used the second trellis nets but oh well. took only 2 days of being busy for them to say fk you mister and do what they wanted to again lol. and the plants in the pots got pretty tall. the 2 dirty bird genetics head candies around 5ft if you take away the 1 ft pot but hopefully stretch is over as we are on day 15 flower now and def should of cleaned out the center on 1 which would have left only 2 branches but oh well.

Finally, today my pH meters arrived. I was watering with about 7.4 pH. Today I did a corrective watering with pH at 6, distilled water base with EC 0.11, with a little bit of everything, especially mycorrhizae (fungi), calmag, deepunderground, a bit of seaweed, a little soluble boron powder, and yesterday I added 1/4 of new Lightmix substrate to refill the pots. I hope that with all this and the corrected pH, the beginnings of deficiencies, excesses, or lockouts will be quickly resolved. Also, today I did the first foliar spray of neem oil and potassium soap.
The temperature is very stable between 22ºC and 28ºC during peak hours, humidity above 70%.
Of the 6 plants, 3 Banana Cream and 3 Banana Tropicana, 3 are quite small compared to the other 3. I removed the fan leaves again, they are too big, I can’t stand seeing them xD
If anyone recognizes any of the deficiency/excess problems that the plants in the photos show, I would appreciate it, to be more attentive to them individually with their respective problem. I know the problem was due to the pH, what I don’t know is the type of individual problem it caused them, some are perfect, others suffered more.

yeah im starting to think the dirty bird genetics focus on taller plants when breeding. im pretty sure everything ive grown of theres has been 5 ft or higher plants with just a single topping

Can’t wait, I’m stuck on their double afghani kush for my next grow and will give away whatever else they send me. I haven’t grown any dirty bird yet but will train the hell out of it when I do lol

First grow of my life. A mess from all sides 
we’re going for 50 days. With zero experience, zero budget, and bad-tempered neighbors; this girl is growing, the origin, a South American brick weed. As you can see, it’s a full-fledged bonsai, maybe because I’m only managing with 40w which will be too little in a few weeks for flowering. What do you think? Is it acceptable for a first indoor grow?

Welcome @Senzetth, that’s great training, she has many shoots. Only the lamp will be a bit too weak for the flowering phase.
