How’s my plant look to you?

First time grower here… of any type of plant. I purchased a clone around the end of October. The strain is sherbet cream pie. She’s a regular photo that’s inside a 2.5x2 gorilla tent under a AC Infinity evo4 light. I will add my nutrients later after work. I don’t remember the names. I feed about every 3 days when the top of the soil almost dry. She’s planted in fox farms happy frog soil in a 4 gallon plastic pot.

The first couple weeks I waited for my light to come in so she wasn’t on the proper schedule. I’m honestly not sure where I’m at. I downloaded the photon app and I adjusted my light to be between 35-45 from the bottom of the leaves to the top.

Hello friend, unfortunately I don’t know the strain, but I would say your clone is a little under-nourished. If there are no shadows on the leaves, it could be a lack of phosphorus. The flowers are also very small. How long did you let it grow before it started flowering?

I had it about 2 weeks before my light came in. So it was getting short day light hours for at least 2 weeks. Now it’s getting 18 hours of light and 6 dark.

So currently it looks like it’s flowering. If you just put it back to 18/6 lighting it will reveg taking a while to do so. But it will allow it to grow bigger. The new growth will have some strange looking leaves so don’t be alarmed.

Thank you for the help. She’s been receiving 14 plus hours a day for over a month. In saying that for majority of the time she was in a cooler climate. Now she’s in a tent. Inside my house.

The light schedule needs to stay consistent. If not your plant will get confused on what it should do. Timers are cheap online or a home improvement stores. Some strains will flower with a 14/10 schedule.

14 hours is what starts preflower for all strains outdoors, I’d assume it’s the same indoors. I could easily be wrong though. I only grew outdoors for 3 years and I’m on my third year indoors. Inside it’s 18/6, 24/0 (autos), 12/12 (flower). I’ve been meaning to try and replicate daylight hours to see how it changes things but haven’t gotten around to it, why change what’s not broken lol.

My new light has a timer with it. Since I’ve gotten the new light it’s been set on 18/6.

The nutrients I’m using are Cal-mag and FloraNova grow 7-4-10. I use distilled water. I mix in 5mL of calmag and 1.25mL of the flora grow in a gallon of water.

I was also reading that this plant has 3x stretch… does that mean it will go up or out 3x its size?

I’m sorry I’m very new to this.

The stretch will be vertical if you don’t apply training techniques. Your plant is going to re-veg if you keep the 18/6 schedule.

Thank you for your reply. I haven’t done any training. I literally have very little knowledge on growing plants and I try to read on line but everyone has a different idea of how to do it correctly that it gets very overwhelming fast trying to figure out what to do and what not to do.

There is no right way to grow cannabis! Everyone will do things a little differently. Try different things and see what works for you.

My suggestion would be to keep it as simple as possible to start and then adjust as you learn!

You’re not gonna get top shelf nugs on your first grow, aim for just decent nugs and then improve every grow from there! I think realistic expectations help us all

Awesome. I really appreciate all the help. I enjoy learning this craft.

Have you tried watching YouTube videos on growing? Being able to see their results and watch how they do things is how I’ve learned. Now I get wall to wall buds with easy repeatable steps. I’d recommend Mr Canucks, bass drop keys, Mr grow it, green magic gardening, homegrowtv, hyperactive highs and build a soil.

I tried but I had the same issue… so many different ways to
Go with I couldn’t pick one to follow. I will
Look for the ones you recommended and watch some videos.

I noticed today my plant is getting top heavy and starting to lean. I’m thinking I should watch some videos on bracing

Add silica to your feeding regiment. This will strengthen the stems to hold the big buds.
