I started germination of my seeds on 9/16. I am germinating my seeds straight into seedling soil in a solo cup. The cups are sitting in a humidity dome. Temps and humidity are good.
Question is I’ve been reading that when using a humidity dome you should see condensation on the done plastic part once closed. Been three days now and zero condensation has shown. Is this not good? Or does it not matter that there is no condensation?
Also to piggy back onto this question!
Is it okay to mist the top layer of soil once it’s dried multiple times throughout the day?
Is your dome 100% closed? And if your really concerned you can pH some RO water and/or your seedling solution and most the inside of the dome to give it some moisture inside the dome
Hi @Rayz210, if you have a spray bottle spray the inside of the dome it will help a great deal, they need around 70% humidity now even higher some and then as they grow they need lower
