I just bought some new nutrients

Hi,
it’s been a long time since I’ve been here.
I’m pretty busy this year. I moved to a new home and have a new job. So there was no time for growing weed.

Anyway… I still plan to set up my tent’s in 2024, and to pop some beans.
And I just ordered some advanced nutrients today. It’s my first time with advanced nutrients, I wanted to work with them for a long time. Because I can use in soil, coco and all kind’s of hydroponics and I like to experiment.

Happy growing to everyone, I’m coming back soon!

I’d highly recommend including sensizym especially if you’re running the boosters. I just finished my first run using something similar and had to emergency add it at the end because of early signs of nutrient lockout in one plant. I was near flush already anyways, but it happens quick with AN and other synthetic nutes. That’s why they all run some kind of cleaning agent and sensizym is AN. Also if you’re using soil just a heads up don’t run at full strength. I ran at 1/4 to 1/2 strength and was pushing the edge of nitrogen and phosphorus toxicity by the end with auto flowers. Oh and if you’re not used to synthetics be sure to water up about 20% runoff. That also helps with salt buildup. Oh and if you run their Cal Mag be careful in flower, it’s way too high in nitrogen and can cause extra leaf growth that can potentially impact taste. Their organic Cal Mag switches nitrogen for sulfur which improves taste but I’ve been having troubles locating any online or locally.

Thanks, great Input!!!
I’ve already thought about it myself, adding Sensizym and Rhino Skin for some additional silicate. And now I ended up with the whole line up… :see_no_evil:
Of course, I will start slow!

I didn’t even knew, that there is a organic Cal Mag version. Really good to know, thank you! But now I have it and I’ll stick with it. I bought it just in case, because I had Cal Mag problems in the past, which I wanted to avoid next time. And yes, my next grow will be in soil but I want to build a high pressure Aeroponic system at some time. That’s why it might not be such a bad idea to stick with the synthetic Cal Mag.

There is all the good stuff.
Is that the correct mixing order?
Silica first, then the base nutrients, stared with micro, grow and bloom. Then Cal Mag. Then the Enzymes. And then all the rest. humic acids, bloom booster, microbes, fungi, sugars, amino acids and vitamins.

Happy to help! I’ve read waiting until after you finish training to add any silicate. Apparently you can actually cause breaks from over strengthening. I still use their synthetic cal mag in veg because they need the nitrogen and it’s good stuff, but definitely dose low and maybe pull it all together late flower to avoid leafy buds. I’m going to just run the AN synthetic in veg and probably roots organic cal mag in flower because it’s readily available around me while the AN organic version is not.

That’s how I’ve been mixing it basically other than I was running the enzyme last. I think it’s basically just silica, base, and then everything else though. I only did bloom boosters in the recommended stage specific phases and pulled root boosters early flower around the same time. I think potassium and nitrogen compete for uptake so you want to hit nitrogen heavy until you’re done with leaf production and then switch over to the boosters.

Oh, and if you look at the mix on the micro, grow, bloom Cal Mag is actually already dosed into their base. Not saying extra on hand is bad but just warning I went to heavy with their synthetic in flower and definitely feel like I had some higher leaf production. Most of it turned out fine, but the bottom stuff burns a little hot and has a bit of an after taste.

Good to know! But I don’t think, I will do a lot of training with them. I will mainline but won’t do any training.

That’s what I’m going for.

And the Cal Mag ya… like I said, I think I’ll only use when I feel like they need it. And like you said, it’s good to have it on hand. And of course I won’t use any bloom booster in veg!

Thats what I found about the mixing order of their products and the mixing order of nutrients in general.

For the boosters I meant I wasn’t using all at once ever as they have week specific bloom phase dosing that doesn’t overlap.

Oh I got ya. I don’t know what I’ve read there…
