I need a bit help

Greetings
Sorry about my english but i must have a conversation with an expert just to take a seccond opinion about my grow.
I placed two seeds (auto anubis and white diesel auto) and today im on the seventh day.
I placed the lamp (250W 2100°K) on 60cm above the plant ( the plants are now 5cm both with no problems)
I wont place any nutriens because the dirt im using has already the nutriens for the first 5 weeks.
I cant use any carbon filter for the grow because i cant drill a hole (im growing in a huge closet but the plants should be restricted on 1.5 meters) im a bit scared because i dont wanna burn my grow down and also i dont know if they die cuz of the restrected oxygen ( i open the closet 30 minutes every day to recycle more oxygen)

Hi!

Some advices for your indoor:

You are using aluminum foil, that’s not recommended because it’s made for reflecting HEAT more than LIGHT, so your trees are in an oven. Also, your foil has wrinkles, and those wrinkles are reflecting light randomly, so you aren’t really doing anything. Is your closet white? A white mate paint is going to give you more LIGHT reflecting more evenly, I would recommend that to aluminum foil.

You can measure the heat of the lamp, put your hand above the seedling, and leave it there for 5 seconds. Does it burn? If is too much for you skin, it’s too much for your plants.

You should add a FAN in your closet, so the air doesn’t stay still. Moving air will reduce the temperature of your closet, reducing the temperature reduces the humidity also.

Remember that plants sucks CARBON DIOXIDE from the air and release it OXYGEN in “daytime”, and sucks OXYGEN and releases CARBON DIOXIDE at “night”. I don’t think they are going to “asphyxiate” but they can die from the heat or the high humidity.

You should have two “holes” in your closet, an “Intake” hole and an “Exhaust” hole. The “Intake” hole should have a fan pulling air IN the closet from the outside and should be in the bottom part of your closet.
The “Exhaust” hole should be in the top section of your closet, and should have a FAN pulling air OUT from the closet to the outside.

Those holes doesn’t need to be “big”, you could drill a lot of small holes, like a speaker, or horizontally.

So, I would recommend:

  • Put a moving FAN so you move the air, and the plants can grow stronger stems because of the wind. It shouldn’t be a powerful wind, just a nice moving breeze.
  • Remove the aluminum foil, paint the entire closet with white mate paint. Will reduce the temperature, and reflect the light more evenly.
  • Make an Intake and Exhaust holes somewhere. This is super important. Maybe you could change the closet door and make modifications, or modify the closet door to something that allows the air to change.

If everything goes fine, you are going to have pretty big plants, with a LOT OF PERFUME. You are going to need those holes eventually.

Happy growing!

I’ll remove the foil (its white painted closet)and place two 12V fan behind the plans
I cant drill holes or change the closet door cuz i live with my cousin and his mother comes every now and then and we cant replace the closet door because she will notice that somethin goes wrong :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: (the closet is inside the wall so we cant either drill from the side) any other possible solution? The door btw cant close fully from the cables that are there

Can’t help you more than what I just told you.

Just a friendly advice, she’s going to smell them eventually. Better be sincere from the beginning, who knows if she has an ailment and can benefit from cannabis too.

For some people, cannabis is the key for a painless life.

No problem with the smell…the door is closed almost every day (she knows that our girlfriends are here so we are cool i can saybut she thinks that cannabis is a bad drug that you can die) :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:but we cant damage the door cuz the house is not ours…god damn…so much pressure and cant think a possible solution…can they grow like I have them now if i remove the foil and place the fan behind them? And if yes (in normal conditions of course) would we lose many g’s? Oof…thats my final questions :joy: thank you for your time tho

As @Dani_Kim said…
She is definitely going to smell them. Especially if you have them in a confined space with no exhaust. That smell is just going to build up and creep into the rest of the house

I abswered…she will not come and when the plants are going to smell we’ll have the windows shut…no smell leaks out of the house and no problem with the smell…we can cover it up with excuses…i need the final answers to my questions…can they grow like i said? Thank you also for your time

You need airflow!

Yeah, you can grow, and something will grow eventually.

It’s going to be hard, and your yield isn’t going to be amazing.
Not even by adding extra nutrients.
About your other question, nobody can know how much yield could those seeds generate.

If your seeds are automatic, you can do a 18-6 schedule (18 hours of light, 6 hours of darkness).
If you are going to leave your door open, you are going to lose a lot of light that should be for your trees.

You could remove the door or leave it the open and make a fake cardboard door instead. With holes. For Airflow.

Dude you are my hero…thank you very much…i wouldnt be able to think about your thought…im gon post the final results in a few days and keep a grow diary…i’ve already removed the foil and tomorrow im going to place 4 fans (12Volt each) in a way to slightly hit the plants and make a cardboard door with small holes and fans attached to it to recycle the air…thank you very much…honestly

You can use this photo as example when adding the fans to your environment. Airflow is really important.
