Hi, I’m growing in tents, a 2x2 for seedlings to week 4 or 5, and a 2x4 for flower. Had problems with the first few grows primarily due to heat, high intensity light and overfertilization. Basically I was running very hot and humid. I’m removing the drivers from my lights to the outsides of the tents and trying to run similar vpd’s just at lower temps. What do you think the ideal temps are for grow and flower?
Thanks @Rasta_Free-Man… I’m looking at similar guidelines in lots of places and what has me most stumped is the temps needed to get to 40% humidity in late flower. I also use the vdp chart you posted from dimlux.com. It’s adjustable based on the leaf temp differential. The one posted is plus 5 and my leaf temps are generally minus 3 compared to the walls of the tent so I use the -3 chart. Think I got that right… anyway based on that chart I need to get down to 70-72 f to get to 40% humidity on my chart. That’s the temp in my house so my tent with lights on is obviously more. Don’t want to lower my home temp to 60 or 65… so I guess I’ll never flower at ideal humidity without a portable ac?

If you can’t get to the ideal temp that you want just make sure your withing the right VPD range with the temps that you have.
I hear you @WavvyBaby, I wasn’t paying much attention to temp, letting things run a little hot and managing the vdp to suit the temp, but trying to get bigger and denser buds and I think lower flower temps might help.
What did you end up doing to decrease your temp? I’m having similar issues. Temp got in high 80s but I have a dehumidifier keeping it under 50% week 3.
