New grower here. I started growing outdoors in April and I am getting close to harvest. Also, started an indoor setup about 3 weeks ago. I’ve read a few books up to this point but I’m looking to really hone this craft and learn from more experienced growers.
It’s not the same. The flushing process consists of just watering the plant with no nutes a couple of times to eliminate the nutrients of the soil.
Tyler here is talking about actually washing the buds, to remove all the contaminants from your buds, even more if you have had bugs, and treated them with pesticides, then you already know there are things on your bud.
If the dry conditions are good, then they will be no problems if you wash your buds.
A lot of people wash with a lemon juice/water mix. There are some people that go all out and do a multi stage wash. They’ll do lemon juice/water, H2O2, baking soda/water, and then distilled water.
I use h2o2 on my outdoor harvests to make sure no mold or mildew is in there.
