I’m Gastón, co-founder and head of product at Grow with Jane - or Gaz, as some of you may know me. Today, I’m reaching out to discuss important updates that will shape the future of our platform and some context on how we got here.
Since our beginning around 2017 in Argentina, our commitment has always been to provide the best modern cannabis growing tools for growers everywhere. Since then, our mission has remained intact and Grow with Jane’s cannabis grow journal went from 0 to almost 1 million tree journals in over 195 countries.
We have always believed that Cannabis growing should be cheap and accessible to anyone who needs it. This is why we always want to make our app as accessible as possible and we always try to keep prices fair, nearing the local price of a seed. In order to continue to maintain the level of service we provide, we’ve decided to part ways with our Growers Circle, and welcome our new “Pro” subscription. I’d like to share some key changes:

Introducing the Pro Membership: Starting November 15th, our “Growers Circle” will be transitioning into the Pro membership, offering advanced features and tools tailored for committed growers that want to keep track of everything and improve their grows. All current Growers Circle members will be automatically onboarded to Pro, ensuring uninterrupted access.

Changes on the free tier limitations: The number of free trees you can track at the same time will change from 12 to 4, and environments from 2 to 1. If you currently have more than 4 trees or 1 environment, your access won’t be affected, and you can continue to care for them. However, creating new trees beyond this limit would require our enhanced Pro membership.

Cannabis Growing Support: In-app grower support will now be exclusive to Pro members. Yet, our broader community remains a top priority. The chat and forum will continue to provide support for all users.

Free access to all communities : We’re breaking barriers by making our social platforms open for everyone. This change underscores our belief in a community where knowledge and experiences are shared freely.
Behind these updates is our small yet passionate team of seven members, where every single one of us needs to balance other jobs and commitments to help us make ends meet. These changes are crucial in ensuring that Grow with Jane remains active, innovative, reliable, and ahead of the curve.
Your understanding and continued support empower us to remain the most successful, independent, Cannabis growing platform for small to medium growers. We are now working on tools for team management, AI growing support tools, enhanced social features, data export and much more.
