Is it flowering yet? Flipped to 12/12 around 14 days ago and almost no change

Not much flower formation will happen in the first 2 weeks, the first 3 weeks is more the plant realising the light cycle has changed and then going through a bit of a growth spurt. After about week 3 you will see it stop vertical growth and start really pumping out flowers.

Thanks! Weird that i have never noticed how long it really takes to them to flower… Either way, thanks a lot!

Hey! I noticed your plant shows signs of stunted growth and some curling, which could be caused by light, environment, or nutrients. I suggest trying a PPFD app (only a few euros/dollars) to check your light intensity. For flowering, aim for around 800-1000 µmol/m²/s.

Also, try maintaining 23-25°C and 45-50% RH during the day, and 18-21°C at night if you aren’t already. Could you provide more info on your environment, like the distance from the canopy to the light, the height of the plant, and your nutrient and soil mix? Let’s figure this out!

Yeah, i’m having heat stress due to the high temperatures (around 26C) all day long… I’ve been trying to mitigate it but without letting the AC run the entire day, there isn’t much to do. Do you see stunted growth? To me, they are growing fine, just the curling from heat stress.

I’m running an organic soil and supplementing with Biobizz.

Hey man, I totally feel you on the heat stress. It’s true that high temperatures, like 26°C all day long, can lead to stunted growth over time because the plant focuses more on surviving than thriving. But the good news is, plants are resilient, and they can definitely bounce back from this kind of stress.

One thing I’ve found helpful is flipping the light cycle to have it on during the night and off during the day. That way, you can manage both temperature and humidity better, and it could even lower your electric bill. Even running the AC for a few hours at night should help give the plants time to recuperate. I’m learning a lot myself and still have a ton to figure out, but I’ve seen this method work, so it’s worth a shot!

Let me know what you think, and we can brainstorm other ideas too!
