Something is eating the leaves on my plants. I didn’t see anything under the leaves or any bugs on them, just some munched on leaves. I heard it could be crickets and we do have a ton of them where I live. What bug do you think this could be and how do I keep my plants off their menu?
Not quite sure what it is but if you’ve searched the whole plant and didn’t find anything try sprinkling some diatomaceous earth on the top of the soil and a little around the entrance to your grow space. It keeps most bugs away. You can also buy some insecticidal soap and spray it directly on the plant just before lights out. If you light is really powerful the water spots on the leaves can burn the plant so be careful and only do it within the last 5-10 minutes before the light shuts off. If that doesn’t do the trick you can try neem oil too, not sure how to apply it tho because I’ve never used it. @Missa
@209MIKE I was doing some more reading and I think it is crickets. They apparently love cannabis and travel just to find it. Apparently they can consume your crop very quickly. We have a bunch in our backyard as the weather warms up. Since I plan on moving the plants outdoors soon I ordered a large floating row cover to hopefully keep them out. Will probably plant some lavender outside as well. If that doesn’t work I will try some organic sprays. The backdoor is cracked open sometimes so I am sure that is how it got inside. We have found the cat chasing them inside before. I didn’t see any new chomped on leaves so I am hoping the cricket is gone.
