Jack Herer auto, week five or so. Solid healthy plant so far and my first successful reversal. Male flowers at least, to pollenate Sour Strudel.
Welcome to the community @codasteve. How did you reverse her? I’m excited to see the result, keep us updated.
STS, several treatments spaced a few days apart until male flowers appeared and then one more treatment.
Unfortunately, I can’t do anything with STS, please explain it to me. First I need a coffee to function.
Sts is silver thiosulfate spray, it does the same as colloidal silver with less applications of it. Instead of spraying a couple of times every day it’s one spray every few days or so when lights go out.
in case you’re interested in seeing it.
the compounds are prepared separately with distilled water to extend shelf life; stored separately in the fridge in the dark, they last from 6 months to 1 year.
when you have both, the nitrate water is added little by little to the thiosulfate water, very slowly while stirring gently. If it stays transparent like water itself, it turned out well, and the silver thiosulfate (sts) is ready, but once mixed, the shelf life is about 1 month.
that’s why sts
Thanks to @Crackadoo and @3xt3nd3d, I couldn’t make anything of the abbreviation. I had already researched the whole thing, but came to the conclusion that colloidal silver suits me better; so far, it has worked 100% for me. I still have a small bottle (brown glass) from the last run stored dark and cool in the cabinet. When I prepared the silver water, I made extra right away so that I’d have some ready this time. If I notice that it’s no longer any good, I’ll have a new batch made in two days at the latest.
Moin @codasteve, you’ve got beautiful girls!
Quick question: it’s my first grow ever and I have Auto Skittlez, so I’m wondering if an 18/6 or 20/4 cycle is better. Both are currently around day 4 and about 5cm tall. Currently using the Viparspectra XS1500 Pro at a distance of 40-50cm with 20% power. Best regards
