Late flowering: Chicken or Egg?

Hi!
Nearing the end of my 1st. grow. As the pics show, fall has arrived in my tent.

Trichomes seem mostly clear.

I have a question regarding stopping nute feeding: Will stopping nutes (watering w/ 0 ppm H2O) encourage the “trichomes maturing” (milking or ambering), hurt my grow, or not effect either at this point in my grow?

My intuition is telling me to stop nutes & let the trichomes mature on plain water. It’s also telling me that this would aid trichomes maturing.

Am I wrong here??

Thanks in-advance!

Plants look great! It’s really personal preferences on flushing but I’d probably wait a bit before flushing if the trichomes are still all clear

Keep in mind that any process the plant goes through to produce anything requires energy, take away the nutrients and it will start taking the energy from itself instead.

Your trichomes actually look to me as if they are already mostly milky. In which case a flush would be positive as harvest would be imminent.

Thanks, Crackadoo. I guess the question im ssking is, will stopping nute feeding encourage trichome ambering?

Unfortunately not. The only thing that is going to help is time. They are really nice looking plants and it doesn’t look like you are very far away from the overall look of them.
