Light green vibrant

Gelato 33, indoor, photo, roots organic 50% manure 20% added perlite 20ish % my question on these 3 plants is out of the 3 of them one is a vibrant green otherwise seems healthy the fan leave stims are bright green vs my other 2 which which stims are a purple red also it seems as if on the leaves of my one odd ball the light green on the fan leaves seem to be a bit more noticeable in the veins of the leaves being darker in the webbing thanks for any help

The light green fade looks to me like they need some nitrogen and probably causing the red stems to occur. I grew gelato 33 last grow shout out to larry bird lol and she was a heavy feeder from start to finish so im thinking just need to feed a little more per feed day or if havent been giving nutes yet you could probably start with next watering day. Hope this helps ya a little and feel to ask any follow up questions ya may have and ill be happy to help out if i can

Thanks Smokey! Hey do you have any pics of your harvest of the gelato 33

Im pretty sure this was the gelato

If you’re not using it already a little Cal/mag wouldn’t hurt. Both nitrogen and the Cal/mag help with photosynthesis.

Hey if u could help me figure out what she’s missing this one is an odd ball of the 3 gelato 33

How are the leafs are they dry and sand papery? It kinda looks like the start of nitrogen defiency but in one of the pics the leaf looks a little crispy when zoomed in and if they are dry then she may just be getting underwater and needs more than the others but if they feel normal then it could be nute defiency or a ph imbalance. I would check ph first as that ends up being most of our issues at times if leafs arent sandpaper. There could be other reasons as well but safer to check off the little things at first

Just wanted to update you 3 days after feeding on some of my new growth on that one plant seems to be getting worse but still growing some of my fab leaves are tacoing but downward on that plant and some clawing again only on that plant and they all share. The same water source and mix

When you water do you water till runoff? Im wondering if there is some type of buildup/lockout and may need to be flushed. Hows your ph levels when watering?

Well they were up until very recently just transplanted and they were baby’s going into 7 gallon pots from solo cups so I haven’t been watering until run off as the roots wernt all the way to the edges I would assume they may be now but my going in ph is 6.20 to 6.50

While pH going in is important, you 100% need to know what the run off pH and EC is. It looks like to me your pH is off causing the beginnings of lockout as I see magnesium and nitrogen issues.

Wargoat is probably right the ph may be out of whack and since ya just transplanted and dont want to risk drowning out the roots id probably do a slurry test on your soil and see what the ph comes out to. Ya can just take a small scoop of the pot soil and put in a cup and hit it with the same ph water ya water with just enough to test it and see where ya at

Okay when I do that if I find it to be off by any given number how would I correct it to get it in range

Since your plant is still in early veg i would do, if its under like 6.0 or really under like 5.8 i would water in with a little higher ph than normal say around 7.0ph and that should raise the ph level a little at a time or if its high runoff like 7.0 or higher i would water in with like a 6.0-5.9ish and see if that brings it down into the 6’s. And once plant is more established in like a week or so if problem still occuring ya may just need to flush the soil with 6.0 ph and hopefully flush out any buildup and will just have to give a feeding on following water day. There are probably other ways that im just unaware of right now and hopefully others will chime in and share what they know… hope it works out for ya bud and as always dont hesitate to keep asking questions

So I followed your guises instructions on ph testing my soil with run off etc well the test showed it was pretty high in the 8.0 range so I mixed up water at 5.3 then it came out 7.1 so I mixed it up again on another pot and at it at 4.7 going in and I got the same around 7.1 not sure why it never dropped from the last mix but is it safe to go lower maybe try 4.0

It didn’t lower the pH probably because you didn’t use enough water.

Like wargoat mentioned i would probably just use a little more water and that should lower it into the 6s and once ya start giving full waterings you can go in the 6s with your ph and as you water till runoff itll flush some of that alkaline out

Hey Smokey101 how’s it been I’m having sort of an issue imagining I think and it may be iron I’m about 2 weeks flower new 720 w rdj bar style light ppfd at around 1000 dli at 60 12/12 light cycle flora series and this issue is on my. Jungle cake can’t really tell too much but the bud sights forming are almost yellow very light

I would say this is a issue with pH or watering. It’s attacking the whole plant so I don’t think it’s a nutrient problem

I agree with demon its looking like a ph imbalance or lack of nutrients. Another possibilty is the ppfd is a little to strong for them right now and may need to lower and gradually move up to around 1000 if top bleaching occurs
