Maybe I got sentimental or maybe I’m all about equal rights. Either way, it just feels wrong to throw out these plants I’ve put so much into. Does anyone else use their males for other purposes outside of creating seeds?
I’ve heard of using them for mulch, but I have also heard you can make tea or extracts. Has anyone tried this or other uses for leftover male plants? I would absolutely love any ideas or recipes if you have some

being the unfortunate recipient of 8 out of 9 males; my wife decided to dry and use the leaves and stems for tea. Indeed, the tea had a delightful “body” buzz. She was then encouraged by that result to try brownies. So for low thc content, the male brownies took an hour to ‘lift off’ but I was personally rewarded by a very good buzz and a complete disinterest in moving from my chair for 90 minutes…I suggest you try drying the males and testing them out, you may be pleased as I was. BTW-female is still in preflower mode but being September in a northern temperate zone, I’d like to see her move along!
