The new GWJ Web experience is live
Hi growlings!
We’ve just released a new version of the Grow with Jane website, focused on bringing a better social experience to the web: https://growithjane.com/explore
You can now explore public grower profiles, browse Growlogs, follow people, check notifications, manage favorites, and share your profile with anyone, even if they don’t use the app. This is a renewed experience built especially for desktop and browser use.
One of the biggest changes is that every public grower profile now has its own web link:
https://growithjane.com/profile/gaz
(I’ll need to put some effort into my own profile. I knoow, I knooow)
But this means you can share your profile with friends, other growers, brands, support teams, or anyone who wants to follow your plants without needing to install the app.
What’s new on the website:
◆ New redesigned Growlog experience with charts, AI summaries, and translations
◆ Comment other users’ Growlogs from the web
◆ Open grower profiles and see their public plants
◆ Log in or register a Grow with Jane account from the web
◆ Set up your public profile, avatar, and bio
◆ Follow growers and see your connections and theirs
◆ Check notifications and favorites
◆ Manage your Garden: choose which Trees are public, listed, or private
◆ Manage your settings from the web
◆ Share your profile and Growlogs more easily outside the app
◆ Dark and light themes available
This web release is focused on the community and social side of Grow with Jane. The full tracking tools still live in the app, but now it’s much easier to explore, share, and follow Growlogs from any browser.
Some snapshots:
And if you already have a profile, make sure your handle, avatar, bio, and public Growlogs are ready to share.
As always, we’d love to hear what you think. If you find anything weird, confusing, or missing, drop your feedback below. This is still in testing so there’s probably still plenty to polish!
And if you are waiting for the full app to be available in your browser, I have good news for you too, because it’s coming ![]()
