Morning research find šŸ˜‚

I don’t know how many people follow the legalization of marijuana.?
But I do and with the way my schedule is I have several hours every morning before ANYONE in their right mind is awake :rofl::rofl::rofl:! I found this on Google and just thought I’d share it with everyone.

I was just in New Orleans and bought some weed out there. Holy shit was it nasty! Rather smoke a cigarette and I don’t even smoke cigs. Made me realize how spoiled we are in California (weed wise at least). California is a shithole where it’s more beneficial to not work or be an illegal than it is to be a small business owner like myself

I was down there a few years ago working and sounds about the same. High school ditch weed actually tasted better I think :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

To bad this is for political votes, using cannabis to get into office. One day it might be for the people.

Im just worry about when it comes up for federal legalization vote , that there is going to TONS of arrest and negative publicity across the nation before and during voting to sway the vote saying it’s to big a problem.

You know the government hates competition and losing money.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Anything the government gets their hands on ends up way worse off! I wish they’d just decriminalize and leave us the hell alone but we know that ain’t gonna happen.

Your right.
I know alot of people don’t think it’s a big deal because it’s ā€œlegalā€ now in VA , but state government has actually made CBD basically illegal to sell because it’s been included into the required licence to sell THC retail. That licence is $90k.
Now here’s the kicker about it…retail sales licenses will not be approved for at least another two years because current state government don’t see it as a priority and the actual board to over see the legalization regulations has not even been finalized yet just canadits for it. You can no longer buy CBD in the state if VA even though it is legal nation wide and regulated by the federal government already in 2018 with the Farm Bill.

What would be great is to get every pot head in America in front of the white house and just have a peaceful smoke out until they pass it legally federally.
You know how many city blocks would be clogged up by people just sitting around smoking. There would be to many for the police to arrest and since it’s a peaceful gathering which would be news world wide :grin::grin: nobody else would get involved!!!
Yes I’m a little crazy but it would work.

You might pull that off as long as you have carts full of free blunts and munchies making the rounds

That would be fun! Problem is there is too much politics involved in this now. Left is for, right against, to the point where it’s not about weed anymore. The politics in our country are a joke. Not about the people, only about power, control and money!!!

It also makes them look like the biggest idiots ever considering how much money would be made off the taxes you know are gonna be in place. Colorado got close to $5m the first year in taxes alone and has just gone up.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
(I can’t give figures for other states but …)

Gov. Pritzker says $450 million tax revenue on 1.5 billion in sales for Illinois in 2022 . . . one of the highest cannabis tax rates in the nation. Home growing illegal without med card . . . unless they can figure out how to tax our tents

Food trucks…and that many people there would be tons if weed to pass around for days :partying_face::partying_face::partying_face::partying_face::partying_face::partying_face::partying_face:

Some states you are only allowed to buy from a dispensary unless you have a med card. It’s a money grab. If they let people grow there own they lose money.

The indigenous people tried this with the oil pipeline. The y used water cannons to disperse them, in the middle of winter.

Our government has a fantastic history of treating people well and always doing the right thing :rofl::rofl:

They would not do anything against over a 5 million people. They would lose and know it.
Unless they want to open the door to civil uprising against them and become known for not following it’s own constitution which allows peaceful demonstrations…the United States military would not act in anyway shape or form against a peaceful demonstration ( it’s actually one of the primary regulations)
I’m talking every single pot smoker in America , there would be enough people to literally clog the streets and city so bad that people couldn’t get to work , wouldn’t be able to drive unless you drive over people phone lines would be clogged , the entire city would be shut down and useless.

If they acted in a aggressive manner against a peaceful demonstration it would be the end of America…the resulting revolt would dive us into a civil war that makes all other wars look like training.

Another way to look at it…add the population of another entire STATE into one city. I know there’s only close to 7 million in NC alone and I’m sure the actual number if users is over 5 mil it was just the first figure that came to mind.
What alot of people don’t realize… weather they want to admit it or not , every person in America knows somebody that smokes. Either they don’t know or just don’t want to admit it. Id say , this is just a guess no actual numbers available , but at least 50% of Americans use cannabis or related products every day. ( I’m sure it’s more )

Just as an after thought.
I’m not saying the military would not be present…but remembering the oath I took when I enlisted - " Protect America and it’s citizens at all costs ".
The military actually has no authority in civil law enforcement. Unless it’s a direct violent act against America and it’s citizens. That’s why there is NEVER any soldiers involved in domestic drug bust , counterfeiting , gang actions …or other civil law enforcement activities.
At one time…I can’t quote dates…if a US soldier was involved with the death of a US citizen , it carried the death penalty for treason. It still carries a military prison term.

Now if it was an armed gathering with violent intent towards America then yes they do have the authority to respond and protect and if fired upon has the right to return fire without discrimination. But not against a peaceful gathering…they didn’t even help federal law enforcement at the " Karesh" compound in TX when they raided it ( just an example)
