I’d noticed in another thread that a few growers on the site like to grow mushrooms too. This is my second time round growing them, the first being a “grow mushrooms for dummies kit” (Golden Teacher) that was pretty fail safe. This time around I have gone for a different bagged substrate mix (rye grain/manure), the same spore supplier but with a slightly different technique involving building my own FC rather than the humidity tent provided in the kit I bought and this colonised grain and manure has to be mixed after about 2 weeks and then allowed to re solidify for another 2 weeks. In the previous kit I had it just fully colonised in a month.

FC and fully solid recolonised cake 3 days after birthing. Temp 23c RH 99%.
I’m interested to see how other people grow their shrooms, ive heard of mono tubs but have no idea how they work.
