Hello mellow growers! (see what I did there😂)
I did my first Harvest. Yeeaahhh! I had three plants. All autos. 2 King Tut and 1 Chem Cookies.
Now I will say that I didn’t break any records for weight. I averaged 3 ozs a plant. However, it is some sticky, wicked smelling, get you tore up nuggets. Lol. My friends say it’s fantastic but keep in mind they are my friends so…. My wife and I are extremely pleased and if she is happy then I hit the jackpot. I was growing one plant for a very special family member and about the time it was cured she lost her husband. So young and so sad. He left 4 boys behind. 2 in diapers. I was able to deliver her some quart jars full of beautiful bud. It made her mothers day. So the Chem Cookies has a coffee, 
earthy smell. It is an Indica. It’s really good. The King Tut has a smell like walking through the pine trees mixed with citrus trees. It’s really a strong smell when you start breaking it up. It made my mouth water. It is a sativa but I swear it welded me to the recliner. Here is some picks if anyone is interested. I’m just amazed how well it turned out. I have a little better confidence now. Lol

I just finished my first grow too! What should the humidity be in my jars? I have the little 62% humidity bags in them. Got about 10 oz.’s from my plant and surprised I got that much!
That looks great. 62% is supposed to be perfect humidity to cure. I have the same packs. I also bought some small cheap meters for the jars from Amazon to monitor inside the jar. Also burping the jars every day is important. A lot of this I learned on here it by research online. There is a wealth of knowledge just in this site.
Thanks mate! Just got some white widow and purple ghost candy. Also 3 free autos. Have them in ziplocks with the moist paper towels. Can I grow an auto along with the other two I mentioned (photoperiod plants)? When I switch from 18/6 to 12/12, will the autos be fine during both those schedules? Thanks BigC
@Austingreenest Thats a good question. I have my light on my Autos 24/7 so I keep a separate space for photo periods. However from what I’ve researched autos will be fine with the photos on the 12/12 schedule. Idk how much if any it affects the yield of the Auto-flowers verses the 24 on or 18 on 6 off. Using my logic no plants were really meant to have 24 hours of sunlight. Im by no means a professional grower and im like you, just learning as I go. Im sure someone here will have a more valuable insight. I will say that some people have a gift for making things grow. Some sort of innate ability and instinct. A green thumb if you will.
Gotcha. Tell me this, if you can. I just had a seed root pop out and it’s about a half centimeter- 3/4 cm. long and I’m going to put it in soil in a solo cup sized pot/cup. Should I use light fluffy peat moss with some regular potting soil by Miracle Grow or start it straight off with going into the ocean Forrest or that other monkey somethin or other by FoxFarm? Didn’t know if the foxfarm soil is too hot with nutrients for it or not…? Thanks man!
What did you do end up doing with them @Austingreenest ? You can go straight into the fox farm stuff unless it’s a super picky strain
