They’ve have recently logged a lot of woods around my area. Went to town earlier and noticed this little dude eating this huge felled tree! So very cool how nature just keeps going no matter what us humans can throw at it. Though maybe some of yall would enjoying seeing this as much as a I did.

I don’t have a picture, but when I was stationed in Germany we had pre-fab classrooms. The Germans made them more or less permanent and expected them to be there forever with minimal maintenance.
The second year of the new classrooms and we had a tree growing into the corner of the room from the concrete base; it was about 4.5 feet tall and we opened the shades on the window to give it light.
The Germans were not happy we let it grow…
Nature will have its way!

I do enjoy! 
But that little dude is just the fruit. The whole fungi might be bigger than the tree. I think the biggest lifeform on earth is a fungi.
