My plants are flowering in 60rh no problem. Good airflow is key. But, having big swings from 40 to 60 isnt ideal.

I appreciate the response. I will go ahead and do that because it’s really easy to hold 60. I was just worried about getting bud rot.

If late in flower you will want to maintain as close to 40% rh to prevent potential mold/bud rot. Good airflow helps but may not be the cure all. I throw a dehumidifier in my tent when i get late in flower.

Keep in mind that unless you maintain steady temps day and night your rh will climb as your tent/room cools after lights off. The actual amount of moisture in the air isn’t changing, the air’s ability to hold moisture decreases and the relative humidity rises.

If you hold 60% during lights on it will naturally rise as the air cools after lights off

I think it was misunderstood. If you have the ability to lower the rh% from 60 then do so. I was mostly stating that going from 40 to 60 to 40 constantly isnt ideal. Try and close the gap if possible. Running 60% full time is risky. And if given the ability to lower it i would. But, it could be done if the conditions are right and you didn’t have a choice.

Yes thank you for clearing that up. It’s getting so close I don’t want to mess it up for sure. This is the first time with this strain I’ve ever done it’s chocolate orange. I appreciate your responses

I ended up building a little stand that way the humidifier would be closer to the top of the tent and it’s going well at 45 now
