I’m a new grower just wondering if my plant looks healthy 5th day of germination not even a week old I’m

using a homemade grow tent and 1 300w led light bulb and 1 250w heat bulb, I’m down for any tips or ideas please let me know if

It looks like it’s stretching a lot, I would lower your led light down to stop it from stretching upwards to seek stronger light. I’d imagine somewhere between 20-28 inches away should work, once it’s a little larger with true leaves the leaves will speak to you about the amount of light they are receiving, leaves pointed upwards means not enough light, leaves drooping means not enough light. Also it looks like your overwatering, it won’t really affect the seedling much now but it will show in probably 2 weeks. At that stage all the water it needs for at least 24 hours is 10-15ml of water poured slowly around the base to force the roots to travel straight down seeking more water and in return faster root development vs the roots trying to fan outwards and not giving good stability once they get a little larger. I always water my seedlings with a small syringe I bought for $4 on Amazon. Other than that it’s definitely growing well and wish you the best of luck. @Jaredevans19

Appreciate it a lot I just ordered auto flower seeds I also started germinating another seed I’ll will post updates thanks for the tips

Haven’t watered in about 12 hours i lowered the light to about 12 inches I have good air flow and ventilation I also have a humidifier but I can’t seem to raise my humidity levels they stay at about 35-40% eveb though I set it for 60

You could try to put a couple cups of pure water in the tent and soak a couple towels and slightly ring them out and hang them where the end of the towel sits in the cups of water and it should raise the humidity by at least 15% or so too. Has worked for me in the past

Hi @Jaredevans19, welcome to the community!
I agree with everything @209MIKE said. Lower the lights, check the leaves reaction for a better distance adjustment and don’t water the whole soil, leave that for a future bigger plant. If possible, around the main stem.
The technique for the humidity should do the work.

This is what she looks like now adjusted the lights and I’m still trying to find a good way to use the towel method with my tent

She looks happier for sure. The main stem is getting greener and that is a good sign. The lights seem to be at a perfect distance. Keep it up!

Took this about an hour ago I think she’s looking healthy

Is it to early to tell gender or are my assumptions right on it being a female?

It’s too early to determine the gender, be patient friend.

thank you I was just wondering if I could tell that early because I have another seed in my tent and I’m almost sure it was a female seed i would hate to do all this work and end up with a male in the tent :disappointed:

When is a good time to transplant to final pot ?

When your ready to flip to flower flush with 3-5 times the size of the pot with ph’ed water (1 gallon pot 3-5 gallons of water to get rid of the veg state nutrients) and give it a day or two to dry out a little and transplant them into the final pot 3-7 gallons as long as you have the room for it. And wait a couple days to make sure your out of the transplant shock and flip to 12/12 @Jaredevans19

Should I lower the lights a little more it looks like the leaves are reaching for the light I’m not 100% sure is that normal ?

It looks good bro, the newest growth can be slightly pointed upwards as long as the large fan leaves point outwards (flat) vs looking like praying hands “ “ they should look something like this  @Jaredevans19
