Does this look like to much nitrogen?
The white spots on the leaves are from spraying bloom kaboom.
I think they (the leaves) look a little dark. It’s hard to say for sure as I see there is a reddish hue to to picture and the white pot/bucket. But I would say they could use a little less nitrogen.
Thanks, I think the veg light is on in 1 of the pictures. The bloom light is blue. Just got my spiderfarmer grow tent last night with the 2000 led. The light in the picture was a cheap 1 from Amazon. Lots to learn and looks I’m in the right place now. Looking forward to learn more. Thanks again
That definitely looks like Nitrogen Toxicity. Unfortunately, nothing you can do to reverse at this point.
Genuinely curious but would a flush help to reset the grow medium or do you think it’s a waste in this case?
That was going to be my next step. Im letting it get good and dry then water with adjusted ph.
I just unpacked my 2x4 spider farmer tent and sf2000 light with smart fan control. I’ll be setting it up and using it in the near future. I think I’m going to try another lowryder auto and an Acapulco Gold autoflower, or do you or anyone else recommend only doing 1 plant at a time to start. I’ll still keep trying my other lowryder with the same light and see if i can get anything from it to try out.
I read on this site about someone else who only got a small amount on his 1st grow. I just have tget the nutes figured out better.
In the beginning I would recommend 1 plant or 2 at the most but keep the genetics the same to make life easy. Also autos tend to be a much smaller harvest so don’t be too discouraged if your first one is smaller. I’ve heard of as little as an ounce off 1 plant by an experienced grower. Personally I’ve never had a plant under 2 and a half ounces for an auto that was smooth grow, but I’ve only run traditional and XXL autos. I’ve pulled 2 ounces of larf from a problematic grow so not every grow will be amazing, especially in the beginning. What are you thinking for nutes?
I’ll probably do 2 Acapulco Gold autoflower. Ill include a couple pictures of the bottle labels.
On the lowryder I was using this along with some cal/mag that’s 3-0-0 and some miracle grow transplant/root builder. I fed to much of something, I was giving the root booster at 1/2 strength and cal/mag every water and full strength according to the lable. The Chicken Soup for the Soil was 1 table spoon a gal. and every other water. The Bloom Kaboom I should have mixed at 1 tbl spoon a gal but I had it at 2 before I had read the manufacturers email. Maybe all of those combined had to much nitrogen especially how often i used it. I never really used just ph’d water except for the first 3 weeks. I was only watering 2 x a week and the temp was at 65°F.
Probably get my tent set up this weekend and get the soil ready and put seeds in on mon

This was where I saw this stuff and what I had made mention of in an earlier post
Anybody have any thoughts/comments good or bad?
I know I can definitely cut back or possibly out the root booster because I had roots coming out the holes in the bottom just a couple days past week 5. I used a 5 gal pail with a bunch of rock in the bottom and probably 3 gal of the compost peat perlit vermiculite mix.
Anything with miracle grow in the name would be my first culprit for any issue, that stuff is absolute garbage for cannabis. I learned that the hard way with a few plants and now I encourage everyone to avoid that shit like the plague
Hi @MNGoldie I think your plant is flowering and the dark leaves (which is not an indication of toxicity) mean that you are giving nitrogen at the wrong time. During flowering you must give nutrients rich in phosphorus and potassium and low nitrogen. Manufacturers usually have products for the growth and flowering phases and also administration tables on their websites. This also applies to treating the roots: root stimulators or boosters should be given in certain periods of time, not always.
Hi @Eastbound_E dark leaves like the ones in the photo are not an indication of toxicity contrary to popular belief. They are healthy but rich in nitrogen. Bordering on the onset of probable toxicity. If the nitrogen supply were stopped now, the leaves would turn yellow within a few weeks.
Im going to have to disagree with you. Dark green foliage, some tips clawing & excessive foliage growth and small flower production. All signs that point right towards Nitrogen Toxicity.
Ive experienced Nitrogen Toxicity quite a few times throughout my years of growing and all plants showed these exact symptoms as researched. Dialed back on the N and never had the problem again.
If you look at the photo there are no obvious signs of nitrogen toxicity. Toxicity means excess. In this case I don’t see a mass of curled leaves with crunchy and brown tips. It makes no sense to say that he can’t go back when he can do it quietly. It is enough to drastically reduce nitrogen and then eliminate it in the last 10 days.
I don’t want to say you’re wrong, it’s just a clarification on this single case.
The obvious sign is the dark green leaves… Skinny single bladed leaves and there are a few tips clawing downward along with the excess foliage which happens when too much N is being pushed… Just because they all arent curling doesnt mean its not Nitrogen Toxicity.
You wouldn’t be telling me Im wrong youd be telling the scientists and individuals that discovered it and taught what it is, how it acts & what it looks like that they are wrong. Imo. Plant might not be showing full blown signs of Toxicity dont mean its not there.
