Not sure what’s going on with my plant

Hey I bought this sweet tart strain from a weed shop that was selling. Believe it was just ending seedling stage going into veg. I’m growing it indoor but not sure what is causing the leaves to start browning at the tips. I’ve transplanted it into a 5gal pot and used fox farm soil so I didn’t give it any nutrients yet as I was told with fox farm you don’t have to up till a month with fresh soil. So I just been watering it

Welcome to the community and sorry to see ya having an issue. To me in the first pic looks hungry. I run foxfarm soil myself (ocean forrest & happy frog) and your not wrong about it lasting up to a month but that also depends on how heavy of a feeder the plant you are growing is and most times i found my plants starving around week 3ish each grow until i started feeding at end of week 2. Being that you just transplanted as well the fresh soil should rejuvenate her over next few days. Just be sure your not overwatering her meaning watering to often and if possible ph your water to around 6.5ish. With foxfarm i water in around 6.8 with a fresh bag as the nutes in soil will drop it some. I did my own little test few years ago with there soil and going in at 6.5 or under my runoff would be like 5.7 where as the 6.8ph kept runoff around 6.1ish and your plant uptakes nutrients best when in a 6.0-6.5 range

Which fox farm soil?

Hammer some nutrients and transplant that one in the solo cup asap

Thank you so much for in help, look at it today and the browning of the tips stop and look like it’s in its way to becoming healthy again. I will feed it some nutrients this week

Coco needs a lower pH than soil will. It should be in the range of 6.0 for Coco. I’ve been using it for several years and had issues until I went with a 6 pH.

She does indeed look amazingly better. Well done. When I had a fungus gnat issue I used neem oil every day for a week or two as I read that it evaporates quite quickly. It solved the problem. I also read that it is important to ensure a fresh mix in small quantities as it degrades within a day. A bit of a fag but it did the job. I hope it helps.

If the bugs are coming from the soil diatomaceous earth added like a top dress can work really well and has no negative effects on the plants.

Quick update…I put the plant in flowering stage but it looks like it may be a male. Any thought on what I should do with it

Unless you have other plants that you want pollinated its pointless keeping a male unfortunately.

I agree with @Crackadoo they dont produce much smokeable buds or trichomes (they grow trichomes but not worth smoking breeders will grow males out to breed with or pheno hunt for a male keeper so if ya plan on that or curious to give it a go that would be my only reason to keep a male as well
