Hello! I’m a first time indoor grow but have had about 12 outside, all in soil, including this indoor grow. I have 2 Cheese CBD Auto’s and 2 Do-si-do Autos. One of the Cheese is looking a bit weird, but it’s not hermied, best I can tell. 1st Pic will be the questionable one, 2nd it’s inner stems, 3rd it’s sister. 4th is a pic of the Do-si-dos. Any thoughts on the “weird” one? All germinated 11/30, flowered around 12/31. Late start on Cal-mag.
What are you seeing that’s weird? I must be missing it. The ladies look good to me.
I’m concerned because there aren’t any of the typical “buds”, like the other Cheese plant just stems covered in vegetation
I’d assume it’s a different pheno making for different structure. But that’s just me guessing. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in. I don’t typically run autos
I could just be developing slower than the other. My last run of two of the same seeds matured at different rates. Thankfully they finished within a week of each other but it wouldn’t be unheard of that one finished a couple weeks before the other
I appreciate the help
It doesn’t look too much behind the other really and like the others said its just different phenotypes of the same strain, some girls just do it differently. That said i still think that you can ignore the time frame that you got from the sellers because that’s always hard to match. Just keep doing what you are doing until it looks ready to you.
Im not an auto guy either but i don’t think being an auto has much to do with this one. Could definitely be wrong though, maybe @Smokey101 could confirm that for us both
My bad on late response lost phone and had to download shit again. As for the weird looking one if your referring to the little bulbs with hairs growing out the side it can be just late developing bulb sites in which case i just pluck off so its not wasting energy on it and just in case they they do develop ball sacks. If your just worried about her being behind no worries, even tho same strain they will be very different at times including finishing times so dont stress it to much. Ive had autos go over 75 days flowering at times
Wow, gtk. Thanks all, for taking the time to look and respond to my posts
Happy to help and if ya have anymore questions dont hesitate to ask. Lots of helpful people here that are willing to help a fellow grower out
An update on some info that I finally found. What this plant seems to be doing is Foxtailing. With the whole plant being effected, it seems to be genetic. Sometimes this happens due to excessive heat/lighting if foxtails are at the top of the plant. It has a ton of tricomes, so I’ll probably cut it up, freeze and make CBD tincture for use in gummies or lotion. I found this info on What Are Marijuana Foxtails? Good or Bad for Buds? | Grow Weed Easy with pics. Hopefully this will come in handy for someone else.
