ONLY 2 bottom leaves look different and are yellowing?

Im new to growing, i learned tru trial and error on yellowing leaves. I just never seen this so isolated. This plant is growing all sorts of weird but i havent killed it yet so…anayways. Young Plant, but ONLY the bottom 2 leaves turned yellow/pale and look different. I’ll attach a picture but it really stands out more in person, a ton under the grow light. Should I keep them or remove them?

Hello stoner friend! Well, the thing about the different leaves could surely be that your plant had a hard time getting used to the place where you are growing it, but from what I see it later recovered. The yellowish leaves make it advisable to transplant the plant into a thicker pot because the roots have already colonized the entire soil and it may be that if the pH is not measured correctly, the plant will not absorb the nutrients well and residues may remain. . stay. of salts in the roots. A tip, cut these two leaves, transplant it to a thicker pot and measure the pH at 6.0.
good fumes!

Awesome man, thanks for the help! I did not know that could be a sign to transplant. Was not sure if cutting a young plants leaves would majorly mess it up. Everythings in a grow tent, i have measureing devices for pretty much everything. ph & ppm, humidity & temp(3 different spots for both), laser thermometer for leaf temp, light meater, soil gauge, have a humidifier, exhaust system, running off a AC infinity 69 pro, probably more that i cant think. Getting use to balancing it all out, probably explains the early stress. Also using fox farm soin and the complete fertilizer kit, following the recommend feeding schedule of course. Watering about every 2 days, constantly misting whenever i get a chance.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with cutting these two leaves, because when you transplant the plant into a newer pot, the hormones inside the plant do give more push and strength to the upper parts of the plants and when you transplant it it would have more vigor in developing quickly.
if that is a sign of transplant.
Otherwise perfect bro, he has everything under control but that was the problem… and that the leaves are malformed, that’s why there are plants that, due to environmental stresses, due to getting used to the environment, maybe they have some malformation but they recover immediately.

If you use Fox Farm, which are mineral products, I advise you to also buy a product called CAL/MAG because minerals, unlike organic products, do not contain these microelements in the formulas, which are the most important thing for the plant: Calcium for its structure and magnesium for photosynthesis and for the chlorophyll of the plant. So that you do not have a CALmag deficiency, buy and add this additive to your irrigation solution.

The plant looks good overall… its likely root bound. but, the advice given above is good. Get her a bigger home. I will normally grow it out to about that size then place into its final home pot. Thats for a photo period plant. If you are growing an auto-flowering plant then you want to plant the seed directly into a final home pot.

Recommendation.
During transplant, sprinkle a little biological soil inoculant on the roots. If you dont have any its not needed. But, it does make a difference.

Thanks for the advice man! Ill definitely look into getting some of that. Im suprised fox farm did not throw that in their big kit.

My buddy gave me this stuff as well, would it be beneficial?

Yes, that’s super, I have it too and I use it for transplants. It’s a mycorrhizal bacteria, that is, some beneficial bacteria that helps plants against fungi and helps in dazzling growth.

Great White is the most advanced mycorrhizal formula on the market. This highly concentrated and diverse blend of beneficial microbes will help boost your plants’ root systems, leading to increased water retention and nutrient absorption.

Mycorrhizae form a type of symbiotic relationship between fungi and plant roots. Fungi colonize the roots and form a network of filaments called mycelium. In exchange for sugars produced by the plant, mycorrhizae help increase root surface area, improve water and nutrient absorption, and protect roots from pathogens.

For gardeners, this symbiotic relationship can be beneficial in several ways. First, it can help improve plant health by providing them with additional nutrients and water. Second, it can help reduce the need for chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Lastly, it can help improve soil structure and increase the population of beneficial microorganisms. Therefore, mycorrhizae play an important role in sustainable gardening practices.

HOW TO USE:

Great White can be used at all stages and in all types of cultivation. Use weekly for best results.

Seeds: Sprinkle lightly with Great White.
Cuttings: Dip cutting in rooting gel/solution and then lightly dip directly into Great White powder. Mix into the pre-soak/fertilizer solution at the rate of 1 teaspoon or 3.3 grams per 2 gallons (7.5 liters) of water.
Transplant: Lightly sprinkle the planting hole and place the plant directly on top.
Soil, Coco and Topfeeding: Apply at a rate of 1 teaspoon (3.3 grams) per 2 gallons (9 liters) of water.
Hydroponics: Mix in the tank with regular feeding at a rate of 1 teaspoon (3.3 grams) per 10 gallons (38 liters) of water.

*Hydroponics users may find particles at the bottom of the tank and should not worry about product loss; It is normal for the carrier agent to settle.

Yes, use it when you transplant.

That stuff is great just do yourself a favour and don’t work right near your fan, get a face full of it and spend the next half hour sneezing like crazy

Yeah its something i had never considered until it happened and that only happened a couple of weeks ago after years of using the stuff. It triggered probably the worst sneezing attack ive ever had which brought the dog running to my rescue spilling more of the shit in the process, pretty shitty experience all around but if my stupidity can help someone else avoid it then happy days

It was all i could smell for a couple of days too
