I recently planted 2- 7inch clones and I believe I might hav e compressed the potting soil way to much. I used a 3 Gallon pot, added a few Inch of soil then spread and compacted and kept doing this process layer by layer till pot was about an inch from rim then I dug out spot for the clone. I feel like growth has been extremely slow in the 2 weeks I planted it. Should I wait and see how it does since itโs not dying yet or pull it out and loosen the soil and replant them??
You donโt need to compact the soil, it actually needs air so the roots can breathe too.
I would extract the clones and move the soil with your hands so it you get some air in there.
Also, is it possible you are growing 2 clones in the same pot? That is not good, each clone should have its own pot.
Both clones are in separate 3 gallon pots. But they are doing good now! Iโve seen a ton of new growth I think I just needed the roots to get established in the soil first. Now that they are I can tell Iโve been watering about a day sooner and they are getting bushy
