Trying to figure out what the app is asking when it comes to the pH calculator, additive ph and base pH? Any help would be awesome as I’m new to the app.

welcome to the community and although im not 100% sure i believe base would be referring what the initial ph is before adding a ph additive if im not mistaken but hopefully someone in the community can correct me if im wrong or give a better explanation for you

Base ph is whatever your water/nutrients solution starts at, additive ph is whatever you are using to adjust with, ph down, lemon juice ect. So you would measure the ph of whatever you are using to adjust with and use that as your additive ph to calculate how much it would take to go from base ph to desired ph.
