Believe it or not I planted all three of these at the same time. Left is a Ryno Ryder (auto), center is a Carolina Reaper pepper and on the right is a special K #1. The hot peppers are slow growers.

Hit peppers like it really hot to grow fast. Hotter than weed plants prefer for sure. My reapers and scorpion peppers out pace my herb as long as they are in the right environment. Typically I grow them in the high 80s low 90s day time temps.
