Howdy Mr man,
Yeah, hmm
Did you have more than just the one plant? If so, is it doing the same thing?
Since you said that you have had many successful Grows with this setup, but last year and this year are different from previous years, then you must have changed something from them until now.
This has nothing to do with growing, it is simple logic. If everything was going right before, then something has changed.
Take yourself back to your first successful grows, and then go about duplicating everything you were so careful about back then.
Got old, crappy potting soil? Get rid of it and go buy some new stuff.
Do you realize LED and CFL lamps degrade over time? All lamps do… Oh, they might last 50,000 hours… but they are decreasing in their output and efficiency the whole time. So if your grow lights are more than a couple years old, sell them to your cousin, and get some new stuff!
Have you really changed all your carbon filters recently, and changed your Ro cartridges? They get old and degrade every day. Do you need some new stuff?
Are you really still feeding your plants the exact same thing as when you started, and we’re successful? Are you using the exact same soil mix? Precisely exactly? Or did you get new stuff?
Thermometers are relatively stable over time, humidity sensors, however, degrade over time, and should be cleaned or replaced periodically. Have you cleaned or is changed all of your sensors recently? Do you need some new stuff?
Have you lubricated any of your circulating fans, or exhaust fans,? Are they moving the same amount of air as they used to? Actually no, small electric motors wear over time, start getting hot and vibratey, get sluggish and move less air. Especially if they’re dirty. If your fans are more than a couple years old, sell them to your other cousin, and get some new stuff!
Have you pulled up any of the hundreds of YouTube’s, in order to study your setup, and the best ways to use it in various situations? Does your brain need some new stuff?
Growing cannabis can be challenging, however, I don’t think we can be doing all of your typical grow maintenance work for you.
Funny, but I never thought I’d actually use the Sesame Street theory of “one of these things is not like the other”! LOL:-)
So, just go find what’s not the same, and fix it. Done deal!
Doyle does it
