Folks, this is my first cultivation experience and this plant is already in flower, and I’d like to know if that little sac with brown hairs is normal?
Welcome to the community and congrats, it’s a girl!

When we talk about hermaphrodites, we are talking about a plant that shows both sexes!! Meaning: a female shows itself with the little bell and the hairs coming out of it… a male produces a closed little bell with a little stem ![]()

and when those little balls open into flower
that’s when it releases all its potential to pollinate the fleshy buds of the female with its pollen!! Meaning if your plant presents both sexual/reproductive organs in one plant. Then and only then will you have a hermaphrodite. In fact, I’ll give you a piece of info: the seeds that come from a hermaphrodite plant are all female, it has happened to me!! in different indoor rooms… with bulk seeds!! With any type of stress, whether hybrid, light, thermal, or pruning stress!! They usually declare as female and in the 3rd or 4th week of flowering they develop male flowers, and if that flower opens… you have a massive harvest of seeds. Mind you, feminized seeds, you’d guarantee yourself seeds for life…![]()
