K you don’t have a growlog please answer these questions.*
What strain are you growing? Is it Auto, Fem or Reg?auto
Are you growing Indoor or outdoor? Indoor
Are you using nutrients? Which ones? How much? Big bloom, tiger bloom , cal mag, every other watering approx. Every 2 days. When shoiuldd i crop

I am new to growing some of the tops leavea tips are yellow? Looks healthy?

I’d make a trellis net for her and she looks pretty good, I’d increase the potassium and phosphorus, I liked using big bud for that. By cropping do you mean harvest? Because if so she is nowhere near ready. The white hairs will turn brown and she will marten up more.

I’m not sure what you mean by crop. Are you looking to monster crop? If so, don’t do that to this plant, as it’s an auto and they don’t do well with high stress. If you mean harvest it’s definitely way too soon to harvest. You need about 10-30% amber trichomes to show it is ready.

As for the yellowing tips, I have found that’s an early indication of watering too often. Make sure you feel the soil and weight of the pot before adding water. It could also be a deficiency or nutes burn. I’d be more inclined to think with feeding happening every other water so essentially every 4 days, if it’s not too much water it may be too much nutes. I’ve got plants that size up to 6’ and I don’t even water them every other day. But that really depends on your substrate and pot size. Make sure the soil has dried back a bit before watering and with synthetic nutes water until 10% has washed thought the soil.

Thank you i use plant wire and tie down the stallks

I bought bubba kush auto, green gelato auto from royale queen seeds

Just a heads up with autos not doing their auto thing. It’s honestly a lot more common than anyone wants to admit. There are tons of things that can cause this. The main one being on the grower, causing stress on you plant. (not saying that’s what happened just saying it’s a cause.) Stress can make a plant herm, lose its auto, among many other things. If a plant didn’t flower that was an auto, I’d suggest dropping lights to a 12hr/12hr light cycle. Make it flower… I saw you shot me a message, I wish I knew what guidance to give. Maybe ask the group and see. Someone here may know the seedbank and can advise what your best actions will be.

Personally I’d suggest just tryna grow a seed from your bag lol. But really you’d need to find a seed bank in a legal stste for your best chance. I’d suggest to say forget autoflower a and do photoperiods, u have control over how big they get, they bounce back more, you can do more types of training to them, and you can also extend veg to grow a bigger plant than autoflowers. Also snap more nitrogen fertalizer, like at all. If anything I’d suggest a nitrogen nutrient flush so u get all the nitrogen out then replace it.

Idk why autos get so much hate. Personally I prefer them over photoperiod.

See it’s just because you are limited on your grow. I could keep my plant in veg for years and grow a monster of a plant, or veg for 2 weeks and have an extremely small plant that I could get to quick. Plus with photoperiod I can flush before flowering to give it exactly what it needs, not guessing what week I’m on. Plus you can do mroe training techniques on photoperiods. Such as topping, FIM, taking clones, and you can keep your plant in veg to bounce back from any mistakes you made while learning.

Where am I limited? I have an ac infinity 5x5 and a HLG Blackbird light. I have 2 6x10 greenhouses for my outdoor grows… I average 100-150 grams per plant and turn over every 3 months. My electric use basically never changes so my solar is set up to handle 20/4 or 18/6 depending on genetics. I don’t have to do half the training to get results. I can set it and forget it. I don’t have a sick plant holding up the whole tent. And if I get foggy I can start the next crop before flowering is finished in the same tent. I don’t think any of that sounds limiting. My cats can rip my tent by accident and light leaks don’t ruin my crop. My girl can forget to close the tent if I’m not home and nothing changes. Hell my smart outlets and controllers can all fail and still my crop will be fine.

I would say you are more limited. You need 14+ hours of daylight to start a plant outdoors. You need a tent inside or a whole closed off room void of light leaks. You can’t succession plant in the same environment. You have to resort to all kinds of training to keep the plant manageable.

I get autos are temperamental, their yields are smaller, and aren’t as hands on to grow. But they have their place. I run photos outdoors so I don’t have to train them. I love my 6-10’ tall trees in all their glory. I also get the benefit of clones. I plan to expand to a 10x20 grow space with a divider to make 2 10x10 rooms. Then my 5x5 can hold mother’s, one 10 will run autos and the other will have the clones. What I don’t get is knocking what another person chooses to grow as your situation and theirs are probably way different. I spent a year growing without a proper tent. I couldn’t control light leaks and autos got me through. I’ll always have a place for them.

Could you tell me if the other plants here are male or female?

I also moved several of them out and transplanted them outside next to the blackberry plant in my backyard i was affraid of one of them possibly being male and turning my female…the yellow leaf tips are smaller in size and area i am greatly reducing the amount of watering. I have the lights on 24/7 3000 w Led and i also have these 2 $45.00 single grow bulbs on the sides of the plwnt so its gettng a huge amount of bloom lighting. I thought maybe since not haveing any dark time my other autos just didnt start yet. Can anytging hamper the sutoflower process from starting?..thanks for all your help. I wonder if seedsman.com and royale queen seeds will honor the purchase and poor result in autoflower results…1 out of 10 plants made flowers

An outdoor plant may take longer but I’m looking at between 300-650g per plant. Plus indoor you get to flush properly, prepare for the stretch, everything is exactly in your control. And you say crazy control methods the only only really different method is topping and FIM, which would just give us more top per plant. Autos u can only do so much with. While granted it still is a very large access area of things to do and handle. When you go to photos you can do things you’ve never even heard of, like people super cropping and using a SCROG net to make a plant that’s one foot tall, is 6 ft in diameter and then goes into flowering. When I say autos r limited I sorta also do include 3 months. While that’s great for quick grows, you can just do more with the photoperiods because there r more choices. While those choices can of course be difficult at times it has its pros. They both do. I never say to not grow autos. Personally I think autos r the kings of outdoors, well u less you grow a photo period inside for an extreme extended veg then bring her outside for flowering. Then you have the best of both worlds and get huge buds! But that takes time, patience, a lot of training, and time. So I 100% agree that autoflowers r the best for outdoors because they can be grown year round and that’s the beauty of them. But when I can u 18-20 hours of light a day, and keep a continuous 12 hour light cycle u get fatter nugs, longer colas, you can have more colas as well as a bunch of other things. I don’t see much of a point of growing autos indoors as they will grow the same as outside. But u lock in the exact s with photoperiods indoors 1 plant could fill up your whole tent at 1-2 feet in height and then go into flower and you can get between 12.5 ounces and 25 ounces. So that’s just my personal opinion from what I’ve seen heard and experienced. Photos take too long outdoors, but also I’d say u could match your photos and autos at the indoor and outdoor rates and completely double what your getting on the normal basis. Have have a 1 month planting schedule or something. It’s just a thought. But you sound like your doing really good with the autoflowers to congrats cause it really is an art due to how short of a time u have to get it trained and everything. And since photos r harder and autos r seemingly easier I’m just sayin since u r amazing at autos maybe get 1 or 2 photos for inside and u can just give it a shot, you’ll probably mail it or close to it
