Question about ph

So in hydroponic growing I keep seeing that you need to keep ph right. This might be dumb but I have a hot tub and use ph up and ph down in it. Is that the same thing to use in hydroponic?

What does it look like?

I’m just starting no plant yet just put seeds in yesterday. I’m just trying to get my ducks in a row so to speak.

No, because the ph down products in the jacuzzi are made with chlorine and the ph of a Jacuzzi or a swimming pool is around 7.0 and 7.8 so that the chlorine and anti-algae do not burn your skin. In cannabis, ph correctors with chlorine are not used, and the ph in Hydroponics would be 5.5 ph and cannabis plants can withstand a ph of 5.5 to 6.2 depending on where you grow, if outdoors 6.0 6.2 than indoors 5.5 to 5.9 and in hydro or aereoponics 5.5 always. In addition, the correct thing would be to take a ph down grow composition with nitric acid% and ph down bloom with phosphoric acid%. The Ph down from advances hydroponic Holland for me are the best ph correctors for water, one for growth and the other for flowering.

Where can I find those products

See I thought so there is a difference

ok let’s see, in amazon, you can find PH down and PH Up from General Hydroponics Europe at a good price, and the shipment is from Spain where I live. While in the USA, you have others, always PH Up and PH down from the MICROBE Life Hydroponics brand. They also have it on Amazon and at a good price.

Ph Dow Microbe Life hydroponics $11.49
Ph Up Microbe Life hydroponics $11.49

Of course, I work as a gardener at a hotel and at work I have friends who work as a pool attendant and clean pools and jacuzzis at the hotel and use anti-algae products, and to lower the ph of the water and to make the backwash to purify the water from bacteria Of the two. Talking with them I saw the products they use to lower the ph of the pools and they are all chlorine-based. While the acids to lower the ph at to cannabis are nitric acid, phosphoric or potassium acid, citric acid…
but all exclusively made by the cultivation of cannabis. That’s why if you add chlorine to the water to lower the ph of the cannabis and you water it with this, I think the plant would burn for about 1 week…
