I’m on week 9 of a Wedding Cake auto and there’s almost no more white pistils coming from the buds, but the leaves are still strong and without major discolouring. I don’t have a microscope neither the means to adquiring one right now, but from what i can see it’s around 90% white pistils and some are still transparent while others are slightly brown-ish. I want a more couch lock kind of high, the one that music sounds amazing, and you can barely move.
I’m expecting to flush next week and see it’s last days, but i feel it’s already ready. Any help?
Never go by the pistils, ever. That will NOT determine if a plant is at peak ripeness. Only true way to tell if a plant is ready for harvest is by checking those trichome. Otherwise, you are just taking a guess if its ready or not.
Your going to need that jewlers loupe. Im not sure what breeder you got your Wedding Cake from so I dont know what the estimated harvest time is. But, at 9 weeks you should be at harvest by now Id say. With the strain being mostly indica they usually dont have very long flowering times as sativas.
As far as the color goes, not all strains fade into different colors during flower. Some strains simply stay green.
It could also be what your feeding or soil your using.
