Can coco coir be reused ? Does anything need to be done besides drying and repotting.
Would a cal mag buffer be required

Yes, it can be reused. Imo just add some perlite to it for drainage. I wouldn’t buffer it with anything. I prefer my coco to be nutrient-free to start growing that way it’s a blank slate. Happy growing.
