Hello friends! My tiny garden plot of 12 females is starting to bud - some significantly. They weren’t all planted at the same time and they were different seeds from different bags of dispensary shake.
Mostly Wedding Cake. But could also be some OG KUSH, or White Runtz in there too. (I lost track when i transplanted. And out of 100 seeds thisnisnall i have left).
Also a few of my small sugar leaves are turning purple? Does that mean anything specific? Good? Bad? Strain specific, age or stage or potency specific?
Ive been feeding them compost full of eggshells and banana peels for the Potassium and Phosphorus, and have cut back on the Nitrogen. I know that when the white hairs are about 70% orange then it is time to harvest and process. But this will be my first time harvesting and processing and am looking for beginner tips and timetables to help land this plane. Simple tips and advice for a solo-grower – not growlab sciencey precision.
the curling and browning of the trichomes and hairs are a signal that the buds are getting close to ready another thing to look out for is yellowing of leaves and the plant redirects energy from the leaves to the bud
Hi Guys, just noticed some strange growth on my Tropicanna banana Feminised outdoor plant. She’s in week 1-2 of flowering I think. Do they look like balls on the nodes to anybody or more like calyxes or am I being paranoid without being stoned? Please advise.
No need to worry bud those are just calyxs that flowered in late you can leave or pinch off and allow to focus energy on the more developed sites your choice but your able to relax lol
Ah @Smokey101 you legend, thanks for putting my mind at rest. I’m so stoked to read your comments. This plant is very different to the other strains. Seems lankier and was never as bushy, so I will be interested to see how she ends up. OG Kush CBD and strawberry lemonade are both weeks ahead in Flowering, way bushier too and looking like they’ll offer better yields. Guess we will know in another seven or eight weeks.
