I’m on day 18 of flowering of my feminized photoperiod plants. I have three of them. I feed every 2-3 days 4ml/l of plagron bloom in phd water. Lights are at 100% at around 35cm.
One of them is now having an issue where the leaves are discolouring and falling off. I even had a complete shoot that died off and that I had to cut off. I see there are also some other smaller shoots that are starting to die off. What is going on?!
The other plants seem okay for now (but keeping an eye on them). So I don’t think it has something to do with temp or humidity or smth.
Hello and sorry to hear your having issues is it just that 1 plant doing that? Im not totally sure what that could be from as the wilting of new growth may indicate some some of disease but im not totally sure so dont take my word for it. Im sure someone here may know whats going on or i can ask a few people i know with more experience than me for ya but for now it wouldn’t be a bad idea to isolate that plant until able to identify the problem just incase it is something that can infect the other plants if thats an option of course but ill share those pics and info and see what i can find for ya
Were those branches right up against the wall of the tent? I’ve had a few do that and it usually the ones getting squashed against the sides and the rubbing seems to chew them up
The shoots dying off is indeed only on one plant, but the discoloured leaves and falling leaves are on two plants. I considered isolating the one with the dead shoot, but that kind of means killing it because I only have one tent and light.
It was indeed a shoot that was sitting against the wall. And it also was one of the lower shoots which was a bit underdeveloped. But I also have some smaller shoots which seem to be dying off as well and they are not against the wall (see pic)
Ones like that I’ve always found are getting no light to develop and the they just die off. I put it down to a natural selection type of thing unless I can see something clearly wrong and your plants look nice and healthy overall.
Little update - not sure what the problem was in the end (if there was a problem). But now the plant is thriving again and is flowering without any issues.
I’m guessing it was indeed natural selection as Crackadoo said..
