First time grower attempting to grow 2 in a 2x2x4.
On day 32 are both have just started pre flower.
So far I have kept the two pretty short but now idea whether I will have the vertical or horizontal space for both.
Really I am looking for any all advise.
Hello, it can help to install the filter and/or fan outside the tent, then the lamp can go right up to the top. The vent at the bottom is also an option, in case the lady really gets too big for the tent.

I moved the fan and the filter to the outside and it definitely gives me a lot more space.
Any other tips on how to keep them fitting in the tent?
Training will play a huge part. I use bud clips to train my plants when I do training. This allows you to limit the height before flower and gives you a nice even canopy. Also a scrog set up will give you the same ability. You will just have to tuck branches under the scrog netting. That will give you a even canopy as well. Most of my plants are about 3 feet tall. Hope that gives you some other options.
You can use a trellis net to let them grow more "horizontally, you can use the full size of your tent more efficiently. Try to distribute evenly and stretch the ladies out over the whole surface.
Last run, I had 5 plants in a 60x60cm and worked out pretty well for me.
