Gil Carandang, dubbed the unconventional farmer.
I am sure there are others who fit the bill as well but I consider these guys & gal , the pioneers of organic farming. There is an abundance of info out there, right at your fingertips.

Kiss Organics Biochar I’m using on few plants
I aspire to achieve correct Korean Natural Farming some day. 
That’s a few more years out goal for me right now, but it is definitely on the to do list.
