Looks like she’s NOT receiving enough light because of the internodal spacing meaning too much space between the nodes. That happens when there’s not enough or wrong light source and plant starts to stretch.

The first one is what matters… I tossed that second one (the hemp plant) in the trash, as I’m done with my experiments haha. The first one was only 2.5 inches tall and dead, wilted to hell and laying on its side… so the fact that it’s even alive right now makes me happy haha. It kind of looks like it may hermie itself, so I’m waiting before I put her back in the tent

This is the one I was talking about that’s stretching 
Here’s my previous grow with black dog LED light that’s receiving perfect amount of light and keeps the nodes stocky which is exactly what perfect light should do is to reduce stretchiness. I actually took this picture to show one of my buddies how my LED light helps me keep my plants stocky because he was complaining that his plants are stretching like crazy and after I sent him this picture he realized he was using a very weak light fixture and ended up upgrading to the same one I have and never had stretching problem again.
I hope you don’t take this as if I am advertising my light lol I’m just sharing my experience, that’s all.
Both of our plants have three nodes but look at the height difference, insane

Don’t worry bro you’re doing great! That’s nice that you’re NOT hiding the fact that you’re new to this because that helps you keep an open mind and learn and because of that you’ll be a pro faster than you think 
I love how you’re trying different things, asking questions, not scared to make a mistake because that’s what it’s so about is have fun, learn, and get HIGH on your own supply

Haha thanks man. I think the biggest thing I need to focus up on right now is the germination stage. Feel like I’m messing up somewhere… unless those seeds from Ethos were just bad, I’ve killed 5 seeds before they even germinated. I’ve gotten 2 out of 8 to germinate. Just doing the paper towel method… How do you do it?

Yeah 2 out of 8 is NOT a good popping ratio! Bro I use a different technique than you’ve ever seen probably but My germination success rate is almost always at 100%. I bought a “seed germination kit” with Coco media and glass test tubes 150mm tall and 25mm diameter. Here’s where you can buy that seed kit if you’d like to try this laboratory germination style that I started using about 2 years ago:

And then after the first cotyledons appear I transplant into my 4-in by 4-in pot
I also do tissue culture cloning which is so much fun man but this is an advanced type of gardening so if you don’t have patients then this is not for you lol
And I buy everything through the same website from the owner of it who happens to be growing bud for medical and personal purposes for years and he owns his own laboratory in California and his name is Bill Graham. When you purchase an item from his website you’ll get his personal phone number that you can and should use to help you with your grow or cloning process. He’s very helpful! He knows me very well, so if you tell him that “Yuriy from New York recommended me to you”, he’ll know exactly who you’re talking about

Also, I think my seeds died because I didn’t have a heating mat. I have one now, but they were getting really cold, even in the warm room I had them in. I have two more trying to germinate right now. But I definitely want that kit!

Bro you’ll love it I think because you sound fascinated by this growing stuff just like I am and it blew me away once I learned more about tissue culture and after speaking to Bill and learning what he does and how he does it, so fu**ing interesting
For seeds you definitely going to want to keep your temperature between 80° and 85°. They do like warmth and high humidity between 70% and 80%.

Why can’t you live next to me. I need a growing friend haha. I try talking to my wife about all this and I’m all excited, but get met with bland responses because she doesn’t really care. She doesn’t use the stuff much, maybe once every couple months (probably because I made a very potent tincture and she got laid back). I just need an RL friend I can sit around, smoke and talk about this stuff with while watching the plants grow

Yeah man, I’m with you on that. All of my buddies are far away and only one person lives close by but he just got a new house that is doing almost a gut renovation in so him putting tents in his basement is like a year away but when he’s done I’ll have one person close to me. You are absolutely correct, it would definitely be nice to have someone as passionate as me to grow with, share progress and help each other and smoke together, etc…
It’s funny, I started smoking this again about 6 months ago. Then I got interested in tinctures. Then honey infusion. Now I have about 6 cups of very potent canna-sugar, I have a stockpile of hard candies, few 30ml bottles of tinctures… gotta figure out what to do with the 20 grams of kief I’ve stocked up xD
And right? My closest buddy is a state away in Colorado. Other than that I just kind of hermit myself.
